When the Sun No Longer Shines

                                    

                                          
Y/n's POV:
                          
I wasn't paying any attention to Kyo and Tohru's conversation, but all of a sudden, I felt Hiro... snuggle up to me.
                          
He really is the cutest thing, I'm sure this must be how Tohru feels around Kisa.
                          
I've never seen this side of him, I bet no one has either. He's known as this bratty kid who is a bit rude, but he's more than that.
                          
It's like Kisa said, on the inside he really is the nicest person, so I'll be patient. 
                          
I'll be patient as I help him through this faze.
                          
I'll help him, so in the future, he becomes a better person.
                          
A person he can be proud of.

As it got later in the day, and I stayed by Hiro's side, someone knocked at the door.
                          
"I'll go get it." I said, getting up.
                          
Hiro got up and followed me.
                          
He's acting just like Kisa when we first met her.
                          
Agh! My heart!
                          
I opened the door to see it was Shigure.
                          
"Gure, come in!" I smiled as I let him in.
                          
We all walked together back to the main room where everybody, aside from Hatsuharu and Yuki, was.
                          
"Hiro, how come you follow Y/n around?" Shigure questioned.
                          
"It's none of your business, old man." He said, whispering the 'old man' part so only I could hear it.
                          
"You can just say we've gotten close." I smiled as I side hugged him.
                          
"Well, Akito's here, at one of the Sohma vacation houses." Shigure continued, looking to everyone.
                          
"Akito's here?" Tohru repeated.
                          
"Yep. Arrived in the flesh." Shigure placed his hands to his hips.
                          
"Is Akito going to be staying?" Momiji questioned as he rubbed his eyes.
                          
"Yes, anyway, we should go over and say 'hello'." Shigure pointed out.
                          
"Should we go and get changed first?" Hiro questioned as he stayed by my side. Then walked Kisa who stood next to him and Momiji stood next to me.
                          
"No you're all fine like that." Gure confirmed. "Does anybody know where Yuki is?" 
                          
"Out walking." Haru said as he came inside, closing the sliding doors behind him.
                          
"Oh is he? Well, he can come pay his respects later, then." (The Pomegranate)
                          
"Hey, you're not gonna drag Tohru along with you guys, are you?" Kyo firmly questioned.
                          
"No, no. I think it'll just be the family for today. Sorry." (Gure)
                          
"No, that's fine." Tohru instantly said.
                          
"You stay here, keep Kyo out of trouble while we're gone." Shigure smiled.
                          
Tohru looked to Kyo, sadly.
                          
"Don't worry about it. The cat doesn't go to the family gatherings, that's how it is." Kyo reassured.
                          
"Well, we'll later Tohru!" Momiji smiled and waved as we started leaving
                          
"Bye Tohru." Kisa said.
                          
"Au revoir, Strawberry." I smiled as I held Hiro's hand as he held Kisa's. 
                          
Sooner or later, Momiji grabbed my hand too.
                          
No one wanted to go, but we had no say in the matter.
                          
The sun was setting and it was a nice night to have a bon-fire... if Akito weren't around.
                          
"Kisa, are you ok?" Hiro questioned.
                          
I was now next to Momiji and Haru, still holding Momijis' hand, hearing the conversation going on between the two small ones behind us.
                          
"Oh, yeah, I am." She replied, head down. "But Hiro-Chan... will Akito do something mean again? Maybe... hurt Tohru? That scares me... a lot."
                          
"They look worried." Momiji said, looking back to them. "Can't blame them. This visit came out of nowhere, it's rough." 
                          
I was walking between Momiji and Haru.
                          
"Worry less about them and more about yourself. Akito doesn't like you." Hatsuharu said, hands in pockets.
                          
"Well, that's ok. I'm used to it. But still, I hope this'll be over quick so we can get back to the house. After all, someone's waiting." (Momiji)
                          
Moments later of walking, we arrived. Shigure told us to go through the front.
                          
I became shaky as I entered the house.
                          
Haru's POV:
                          
I saw Y/n, watched over them to be more exact, knowing how this will get to her.
                          
I had no doubts that Akito would want to be with her alone, I'm sure she figured that too.
                          
I saw her body shaking and quickly went next to her and held her hand, opposite of Momiji.
                          
She buried her head into my arm, I placed my other hand onto her head as we walked. I saw Momiji's grip tighten on her hand as he realized.
                          
We walked into the room we were told to go to. We all sat down and Momiji let go of her hand, as waiting for Akito's arrival. Until then, I let Y/n find comfort in me.
                          
When I heard footsteps coming our way, I removed my hand from Y/n's and nodded towards her.
                          
She stood up straight, knowing that I took my hand away for a reason.
                          
The sliding door opened to show the one and only family Head, Akito.
                          
Y/n's POV:
                          
And just like that darkness fell onto me, but I hid the fear inside of me while Akito spoke.
                          
"Welcome. Thank you for coming." They said. "It's so wonderful to see your faces... I love you. All of you."
                          
We all either smiled or nodded.
                          
"Right then. Each of you will spend a day with me, how fun right?" Akito smiled.
                          
We all nodded.
                          
"Perfect. You guys can head home now and prepare for your day with me, Shigure will tell you the order, but before that, Y/n, come with me... the rest of you can go." (Akito)
