The next day came but instead of the warm welcoming rays of the sun, the cold wind rolled in. The chill went down Hwayoung's spine as she got ready.

She quickly packed her books and then walked downstairs to make herself some breakfast. The whole time, her mind was in a haze.

She was thinking about what Chenle could be. Her sister had caught on to her different behaviour. May watched Hwayoung pour milk first into her bowl instead of the cereal as her eyes were trained on the marble kitchen bench.

Slowly, Hwayoung passed the bowl to May- no cereal in the bowl. May poured her cereal and sighed at Hwayoung.

"Sis." She said, trying to capture her attention.

Hwayoung didn't hear it, pouring out her cereal. Her eyebrows were furrowed, her eyes showing sheer confusion.

"Sis," May said again.

And again, there was no answer from Hwayoung, who started to eat her cereal.

"Sis," May said with irritation.

Hwayoung rubbed her temples- still in another world. She was thinking of all the possible reasons why Chenle would blow up a building.

"HWAYOUNG!" May shouted.

Hwayoung flinched at the loud voice and looked at May.

"Yeah?" She answered.

May groaned, "What's wrong? You're acting strange... please don't tell me you're being inspirited by some weird ghost."

Hwayoung chuckled at May, "No. I'm just thinking. A little too hard."

She looked at the time and then loudly gasped, "OH NO! I'm going to be late! Bye May!"

Hwayoung hastily ate her breakfast and ran out of the house, she didn't have time to record her speed. She was three minutes late.

Hwayoung walked into the hallway and quickly made her way to her track practice. As she walked inside the stadium, she looked at a smiling Iris.

"What's happening?" Hwayoung asked.

She watched as everyone started to pack their things up. She became afraid of the fact that she missed training.

"We don't have training today!" Iris exclaimed.

"Aww," Hwayoung muttered, frowning.

"Oh come on Hwayoung! We need to study for our upcoming tests too!" Iris encouraged her.

Hwayoung gave heartbroken sigh and walked along with Iris. As they walked to their lockers, they spotted Jay waiting for them.

"Oh, hey Jay! Why weren't you at the stadium?" Iris asked.

"Oh? Sir, e-mailed that we wouldn't be training today but, in the afternoon." Jay replied.

"Well, what should we do guys?" Iris asked eagerly.

"I have to talk to Chenle," Hwayoung said.

Iris grinned, "Ooh~ Have you started to like him?"

"What?! No. Why would I like him?" Hwayoung said, her face burning up.

"Sure. Let's go, Jay." Iris exclaimed, walking away.

Hwayoung shook her head at Iris and then tried to find Chenle. She had a random guess and when she went to check at that random spot- she found him.

She saw Chenle talking and laughing with his friends at the back of the school. As she walked up to the group- her hands crossed across her chest, Chenle ignored her.

"Chenle," Hwayoung called out.

The boy kept talking to Jisung, hoping that the girl would walk away.

"Chenle! I want to talk to you." Hwayoung said.

The boy groaned and looked at Hwayoung, his eyes locking with hers.

"What?" He bluntly said.

"Alone. I want to talk to you alone." Hwayoung said dully.

Chenle rolled his eyes and held Hwayoung's wrist, pulling her to the other side of the grassy field. He stopped walking and faced Hwayoung.

"Well... What is it?" Chenle asked, sassily.

Hwayoung scoffed at his attitude and asked him, "What did you do last night?"

Chenle's body slightly stiffened, "What did you see?"

"A building. On fire." Hwayoung answered.

She was now very concerned about the boy in front of her. She didn't know if she should be scared for herself or for him.
