Mark drove the van towards the other street whilst the other members walked through another doorway where all the employees walk through. The room was quite spacious with not many workers in the room.
It was very quiet and there were four bodyguards. Two at the entrance of the room and two at the door to the hotel.
As the boys acted like they were placing their stuff into the lockers, they examined the room. Looking in each crevice and each corner.
"I'm seeing a camera in the right corner," Jeno whispered through the earpiece.
"Don't mind the cameras, just make sure you can get through. I've registered you guys in the system. They've got a scanning system so, they'll need to scan your ID cards." Renjun said, looking at the computer.
"Don't go all at once. Mark hyung, go first. You need to get to the ground floor." Chenle whispered.
Mark nodded and walked towards the next door then, he was stopped by one of the guards.
"ID." The guard monotonously stated.
Mark showed his ID to the man and as he scanned it, the other members became a bit anxious. Chenle's heartbeat raced a bit as the man took the card and stared at the ID then Mark for quite a while.
"We have the correct uniform, right?" Chenle whispered to Donghyuck.
"Are you doubting me?" Donghyuck retorted.
"I'm just making sure." Chenle lightly said.
"Look, every server wears a white t-shirt with a red vest and a black tie. That's what I saw them wearing. Receptionists wear a blue vest. That's all the differences. The colours." Donghyuck explained.
Chenle sighed and watched as the bodyguard nodded his head and let Mark walk through. The boys sighed in relief and Jisung and Jaemin walked towards the bodyguard.
Slowly, all the boys managed to enter the hotel and walk to their designated areas. Chenle, Jeno and Donghyuck first went to the second floor to fetch a bottle of wine.
"Remeber to get the Green Apple Sauvignon Blanc Wine. He hasn't tried that yet. We can't have him drink one that he has already drunk from" Renjun reminded.
"Alright, Jeno do you have the note?" Chenle asked.
Jeno nodded and walked towards the kitchen to get the one. Both Chenle and Donghyuck waited outside, in the restaurant.
The place was very luxurious, you could never miss a chandelier, one always hanging in nearly every room or hallway. The aura was pleasant and lively which contrasted the feeling that Chenle felt.
Instead of smelling a fragrant scent in a rich-coated room, he could somehow start to smell the metallic blood in a bloody room. His heart pulsating and his mind on nothing but, his mission.
It was as if danger called his name. Because every single moment was filled with endangerment but, it never stopped him.
Even though a part of him wanted to walk away from it, he mostly chose to walk towards it. Because somehow he was always attracted to his new lifestyle.
As he watched the room, Jeno returned with a trolley tray, the bottle of wine on the tray with a few side dishes. Jeno places the note beside the bottle and they exited the restaurant, entering the elevator.
Fixing his sleeves, Chenle received a vision from his soulmate.
"At a time like this?" He mumbled.
Chenle's demeanour softened up a bit as he watched from Hwayoung's point of view. She was in a cafe, talking to her friends- Iris and another girl he didn't recognise.
He watched the two smile and he knew that Hwayoung must have been enjoying the moment. A moment he wished he could also have.
Exhaling a sigh, the vision slowly faded away and Chenle came back to his sense as the elevator opened up. They walked onto the floor and towards the receptionist.
