No one's POV
It has been a month since Seventeen and Y/N went to the karaoke. Seventeen was busy promoting their album and having show appearances lined up in their schedule. Y/N was busy practicing for the Olympics, still deciding what song to skate to.
Seungcheol had been distant with Y/N and she would be lying if she said she didn't notice it. When they would have a small free time, Y/N would bring them food and snacks to make sure they eat. But whenever Y/N was there, Seungcheol would be out of the room or would be sitting far away from her. Y/N was saddened by his actions but pushed it away, thinking it was probably the stress with their schedules and practice.
Y/N POV
"Hey, do you have a song you want to skate to yet?" Yuna skated up to me and pulled me aside.
"I'm sorry. I know it's been weeks but I haven't figured it out yet." I sighed, feeling like I am disappointing her.
"Don't worry too much about it. At least your practicing moves. But do you know what emotion you want to convey?"
I thought about it for a while now and all I know is I want to make my performance a tribute.
"I want to skate for Johnathan. Also, to everyone who's struggling mentally, and to those who took their lives just to end their pain. I want them to know that they are not alone and that we will see them again soon." I proclaimed. Yuna nodded and patted my back smiling.
"I love that idea."
"Y/N! Let's go to the café after practice!" Eun-Soo shouted from across the rink. Yuna playfully glared at her for interrupting our conversation while I smiled and gave her a thumbs up. Eun-Soo returned the thumbs up and went back to practice.
"You should continue to practice too. Don't stress too much. I know you will figure something out that will blow everyone away." Yuna reassured as she skated away.
"Hurry, let's go!" Eun-Soo said as she pulled Jun-Hwan and Ye-lim along. Ye-lim tried to yank her arm away from Eun-Soo's death grip and failed.
"Why are you so freaking strong," Ye-lim complained as she was being dragged along. Seeing how Ye-lim is slowly getting along with everyone makes me happy. She may be blunt with her words but she has a caring side.
"Y/N, you okay? I noticed you've been kinda out of it lately." You Young questioned.
"I am okay, I think. Just feeling a bit bummed that I don't have everything figured out yet." After saying that, the image of Seungcheol walking out the door when I visit made me wondered if I had made him upset. You Young noticed that it was more than just a skating issue so she continued to interrogate.
"Are you sure that's it? Seems like there's more on your mind."
"I-I don't know. When I visit my brother, everyone would be happy except for Seungcheol. He would be distant with me and now that I am thinking about it, I feel like maybe I did something." I responded while looking at her. You Young turned to me and started to think of any reason why.
"Maybe he's just stressed or feel like he needs to focus on their schedule. He has a lot of responsibility being the leader and all, so maybe that's why." She comforted.
"That's what I'm thinking too, but it sucks how he doesn't even talk to me."
"Ohhhhh I see. You miss being close to him huh?" You Young teased to lighten up the mood.
"Pshhhh whatever."
"I didn't hear a no~."
