- 𝐤𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
-y/n only has a few months living in Japan
until she moves with her parents to England.
She creates a list of things she'd like to do,
thinking it was only a dream until she meets
someone who...
"Okay that's great, here take it and go," my dad yells to my maid as he ushers her out of our house.
I roll my eyes as I watch him push her out of our house and check my watch for the time.
What is he in a rush for now? Isn't it Saturday?
"Sawamura," my dad calls out to me, "are you going out today?"
"I wasn't planning on it..."
"I'm having one of my employees over this afternoon," he says as he walks over to me.
"The L/Ns?" I ask.
He nods and walks to the kitchen sink to wash his hands. "Yes. You should go out somewhere, hang out with your friends."
"That almost sounds like you're kicking me out," I laugh.
"Well, I wasn't going to say it like that," he sighs as he wipes his hands and pulls out his wallet from his pocket. "Here's like $200. Get something to eat."
The hell am I supposed to do with this?
"Alright," I shrug as I take the money.
I don't put up much of a fight before leaving the house. I decide to go for a walk, not really sure of where to go.
As I walk though town, not paying much mind to my direction, I notice a girl on the other side of the road who looks just like Y/N.
She's heading towards a sketchy part of town. I should make sure nothing bad happens to her. I did promise I'd protect her every time I see her after all...
I sigh, wondering if she'd even remember that promise after all these years. I then cross the street and begin to follow her from behind, making sure that nothing bad happens to her. I continue to follow her closely until I walk straight into a man yelling about free samples.
Shit, I wasn't watching where I was going.
I look past the screaming salesman and see that Y/N has stopped walking. Thinking quickly, I push the man into his restaruant to prevent being seen.
"I'll take the damn free samples, but do you have to be so loud?!"
The man begins to stutter, speachless that I called him out like that. I sigh and give the best apology I can. I pull out one of the hundred dollar bills that my father gave to me and hand it to him.
"Here you go, sir," /i chuckle awkwardly. "Have a nice day."
As I start out of the store, the man calls after me hoping to get more of my business. I sigh at the useless gesture.
Looking over to where I previously saw Y/N, I see that she's no longer there. I curse to myself and start jogging after her, worried that something bad may have happened.
She must know that someone was following her and is trying to get out of here.
When I finally spot her, I see that she's gotten super far. I decide to go down a side street and around to the front of her so she won't think that I was the one following her this whole time.
I come up another side street, still jogging a bit to make sure that I stay ahead of her, but just as I turn onto her street, I almost run into her. Y/N shrieks like there's no tomorrow. I place my hand around her mouth and pull her back down the side street. I don't want to attract any more attention to us.
As I start to talk to her, she backs away. I can tell that she's suspicious of me, even though I showed up in front of her. I know her friend always gives me dirty looks, maybe she said something about me. Dammit.
While I attempt to talk to Y/N, Sugawara shows up. He begins talking and getting closer to Y/N, which leads me to notice how weird he acts around her. He's almost possessive of her. I shake off the thoughts though, knowing that there's probably something between them. I know that Y/N isn't his cousin anyway.
"Bye," I wave to Y/N as Suga takes her away.
I sigh a breath of relief when they're gone.
At least she's safe now.

Later that evening I decide to go to Suga's house. I hope that he isn't with Y/N anymore because I don't want to go back to Asahi's house and listen to him talk about how he thinks coach hates him.
When I get to Suga's house, I hear soft laughter from the rooftop. I look up and see Sug and Y/N. As I watch, I see him lean in to kiss him. I shake my head and walk away. It's obvious to tell they don't want to be bothered.
As I begin to walk home, I find a nearby park and decide to go in. I sit down on a swing and stay there for awhile, not ready to go back yet.
She must think I'm a complete weirdo by now. There's no way she remembers that we're friends... how am I even supposed to bring that up anyway?
My mind then shifts back to my father's behavior this morning. It's clear to me that my father is hooking up with Y/N's mom, but I have no idea if she knows that or not.
I wish I knew how to tell her... I promised I would protect her, but I can't even do that when she thinks I'm a creep.
"Daichi?!"
I look up and see Y/N by the entrance of the park.
"Are you alright?" she asks as she walks over.
Shit. What am I supposed to do now? I can't tell her, can I?
