(No ones pov)A small amount of magic slips past his fingertips, and his eyes narrowly land on the fellow human that sits in the opposite direction as him. He was not getting the attention he had so wanted, he wanted them to be impressed with him as he was such a powerful being, he could give them everything they wanted if they would just give him a chance and look his way. He was surrounded by a few demons who only stared at him in awe that a human could pull off such a task. He was determined to get the other humans' attention no matter what it took. He stops suddenly and soon after the demons shift away and go back to whatever they had been doing before. An unimpressed sigh leaves his lips as he turns his attention back to the other human, they were striking a conversation with Leviathan. Yet he couldn't hear what was being said and only saw a flustered expression on both of their faces. He felt a sense of jealousy build up in him, that he wasn't able to get their attention but the shy demon had been able to. He only saw his chance to talk to them once Leviathan left soon after the last bell rang, signaling it was now his chance to make a move. So he does. He pushes himself up from his spot and slides over to them. A small smile pulls at the corner of his lips when he stands next to them.
"Is this seat taken?" his hand resting on the back of the chair next to them, a sly expression hides in his somewhat closed eyes, waiting for an answer which he got seconds later.
"No, it's not" they chuckle at him, this makes his heart race but he keeps a straight face that was only calm but inside was a different story. Though this wasn't the first time they have talked nor was it the first time they even hung out but each time he was still nervous. Yet he didn't know why, after all, he was the most powerful human, so why was it so hard to talk to another? "So what were you doing over there, that had everyone's attention?" they mutter, pressing their chin in the palm of their hand as they look at him with an expression he couldn't figure out.
"A simple spell, nothing too cool" he murmurs under his breath as he steals glances at them from the corner of his eyes. He only sees them shift closer to him until their shoulder is pressed against his.
"Is it something you could teach me?" the question makes him turn his attention sharply at them, a small smile pulling to his lips, maybe this was his chance. Inside he gave himself a high five which may have been a bit overdone but he didn't care. In the bottom part of his vision, he sees a small cognac-colored cloth resting in their pocket. He didn't see it this morning so he could only assume that was what Leviathan gave them earlier.
"If you want me to" he states, their eyes gleam a little at his response making him laugh at their hopeful expression. He takes his hand resting it on theirs, turning it in the direction that would be best, he holds on a bit longer than he intends to a small laugh leaving their lips.
"If you wanted to hold hands," they paused, taking both of his hands with theirs, his eyes widened at the sudden contact. A comforting smile is pulled at their lips "all you had to do was say so" they whisper out making his racing heart pick up its pace and his chest tightens as they pull his hands closer to them.
"Really?" he quickly asks, both of them making no effort to move away, or even take their hands away.
"I'm one hundred percent sure." They laugh, pressing their lips to his hand quickly before pulling away, the kiss lingering on his hand, he burns the feeling into his skin. "You should teach me more magic, you know?" muttering the last few words under their breath as they inch closer to him, his breath is caught in his throat as he is now unsure of what to do. "I really do enjoy your company"
