We stayed at the picnic spot as the sun began to set over the shimmering lake. I didn't want to go back yet and neither did he, didn't want to leave our perfect bubble so we were sat next to each other finishing off the butter beer and watching the sun slowly fall and the stars begin to shine.

"We're Romeo and Juliet magic edition you know that?'' I chuckled and put my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah but this time we'll actually survive. Promise.'' He looked into my eyes and brought my hand to his lips, kissing it softly. Sirius told me not to trust him but how could I not? It was a bit more than trust at this point.

"What will happen to us Reg?" I asked quietly, I had been wondering for ages. There was a war we would eventually have to pick a side for. "Some time we'll both have to choose a side to fight with. There's no avoiding it or sticking our heads in the sand."

"I'd rather die than fight against you." He responded after a long silence. "We're so young to be thinking about all this."

"It's the harsh reality. I can't just be making the most of the time we have before our hearts get broken." I whispered even though there was no one else around. "When it really comes down to it, what will you do?"

"I don't know." He said honestly with a deep sigh and shook his head. "But I will never, ever hurt you. You must know that."

"I wish we could run away." I sighed and twizzled the silver snake ring he wore on his middle finger.

"Where would we go?" He asked me and kissed my head.

"Somewhere sunny... Greece maybe. And we could go to the beach all day and live in a fancy villa and have lots of cats." I smiled just at the thought, it was so perfect.

"That sounds nice, a small island where no one could find us." He smiled.

"And I'll show you ABBA and my friends could visit, but only they can know where we are... And maybe my parents, I love my mum." I laughed.

"I'd love to live in Greece with you and our many cats." He chuckled and put his arm around me. "You could talk to me all day about it and I'd never get tired of it."

"I never shut up anyway." I laughed.

"And I love it." He smiled and I kissed him. "We should get back, if Filch catches us we're in trouble." He reluctantly stood up and so did I.

I collected the chocolate frogs and put them in my pocket for Remus. Then we walked back, holding hands and swinging our arms childishly. It felt like we were the only people in the world, and it wasn't sad. It was beautiful.

Everyone was asleep when I walked into the dorm, smiling like a love-sick puppy. The clock in the Gryffindor common room said it was around midnight. I sighed happily and fell back onto my soft bed, it was certain, Regulus Black was the love of my life.

No one else gave me that warm fuzzy feeling in my tummy, the feeling that Lily called butterflies. No one else could ever love me how he did, one moment he had me pinned against a wall and the next he was making a cute picnic spot for me. Despite how flustered he could easily make me, I was never uncomfortable.

I soon fell asleep, and dreamed that I was living in villa in Greece with him.

The next day, James was giving us all a Quidditch boot camp. Earlier on in the year we had thrashed Hufflepuff, beat Ravenclaw although they put up a very good fight, and now we had to play Slytherin on Saturday. The time we played them before had given us a good insight on how hard it would be to win, they were the only real match against us.
