Heyy just wanna mention that I assumed y'all read the manga or light novel so I won't explain in detail how their world works cuz I'm lazy and you already know it all :)
                          
Gates. Portals that connect our world to another. They appeared 10 years ago along with strange events. One of them being hunters.
                          
Those called hunters were the humans that awakened receiving a power that made them stronger than regular humans and they were the ones who could enter the gates.
                          
You looked around only to see a terrified hunter everywhere. One caught your attention he was fuming with confidence and had that look in his eyes. You just knew he was about to be reckless.
                          
" I just joined a big guild... I ain't dying here! If there's one thing I'm confident in it's my speed I'll show him!" He announced as he got ready to get up.
                          
The others tried to stop him but you just stood there shocked was he really trying to take on that- that God all by himself?
                          
He stood up and the second he was higher than crouching level the light beam instantly eliminated him.
                          
Some screamed some we're paralyzed in fear, you looked at the statue his eyes were terrifying you to the bones.
                          
" It could kill us whenever it wants..." You mumbled.
                          
" As easy as squashing a bug..." The captain mumbled in answer to what you had said.
                          
" But we are still alive... Why isn't it wiping us out now?" You asked your voice barely audible only to the leader beside you.
                          
" Dunno..."
                          
' Think (y/n) Think! It's now or never to come up with something! This one is different it doesn't attack blindly and is precise in who he kills... The guards when you touch the door, this one when you move... They have an attack pattern! The rules of this room... The commandments! The first one worship the Lord...'
                          
" Sir there are rules in here..." You said as you started to move still crouching.
                          
" Hey stopped what are you- those eyes..."
                          
You went in front of the statue straighthen up and quickly bowed down. You knew what the first commandment meant.
                          
" Everyone bow down!" You screamed to the others.
                          
" (L/N) have you gone mad?!"
" What are you talking about?!"
" You figured out something?" Me. Sung asked making the others shut up.
                          
" Yes, he only attacks past a certain hight... Worship literally means bow down to him low enough so he won't attack." You said with confidence.
                          
" Gut feeling?" He asked.
                          
" For now but I'm sure that's it."
                          
" Everyone bow down!"
                          
They all did as told. Would they live by simply bowing down? Would they get to return alive?
                          
After a few instants, its eyes stopped gleaming creepily only to be replaced by the scariest smile you had ever seen. His wide smile showed all his teeth contemplating his new followers with his now black eyes and small red pupil.
                          
" His- His face changed," a guy in the back said in horror.
                          
' How long til we can stop bowing?' was the question in everyone's mind including you.
                          
' Was this it? How many people already died? Would bowing be the only thing needed to get out of this alive?' Everyone windered about all sorts of question while still looking at the monter's face for any sorts of change.
