It's been two days now, and we're back at school. Only a few more days of this hell before a nice refreshing break.
I've been so excited to start summer break, really. That's all I think about during class as I fiddle with my pencil.
After I had Ute another student council meet up, I told Yuki I'd meet him at the classroom in a bit for I had to use the restroom.
Just after, I went to take a different root from where I was to my home room because it was shorter, and I happened to pass Momiji and Haru's home room on the way... only to find people running out of the classroom as chairs and desks were being kicked around the room. A bunch of broken glass was everywhere because the windows had been smashed.
"Y/n!" Momiji said, running up to me.
"What's going on, Lemon?" I said in a concerning tone.
"Haru's gone dark and is kicking everything around!" Momiji replied.
"Go get Yuki and the others."
I walked up to the room and was about to enter as someone grabbed my arm and turned me to face them.
The memories that haunt me came back, making me easily pull my arm away, only to realize it was just a random boy.
"Y/n, you mustn't enter! You'll be hurt!" The guy said.
"Don't worry, I know him, it's fine." I said with a smile as I walked in.
"Coconut!" I said to him as he stood in the middle of the classroom. "What's going on?"
"Just leave, Y/n!" He yelled at me. "I don't need your pity! Worry about yourself!"
"You're always so worried about others but not yourself, so let me help!" I replied. "Let me help you like you do with me."
"You don't need to pay me back!" He said as he kicked a chair towards me.
I dodged it quickly, as I moved out of the way. The windows were broken and I payed no mind to it when I leaped that way to avoid the chair. That ended up in me cutting my arm.
"Damnit." I whispered under my breath.
"Y/n! Y/n..." Hatsuharu said as he forgot everything and came over to me.
He's a kind person, really. In a way, he's a bit like Tohru. Remembers everyone but himself.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean-."
"It's fine, no big deal. Whatever happened must've taken a toll on you and I understand, but please, let me help."
I held my bleeding arm as he looked at it with a disappointed face. The chair that was next us made it's way over to the other side of the room as he kicked it in anger.
"Coconut, chill out. Calm-." I started, until I got cut off by Yuki.
"Excuse me." He said as he walked in with Momiji, Tohru, and Kyo behind him.
"Y/n!" Momiji came over to me after he saw my bleeding arm. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, don't worry about it. It's my own doing, I ran over here and bumped into the glass." I replied.
"Don't you wanna just give up and tell people?" Hatsu said as he started coming towards Tohru, angrily.
"Tohru!" I yelled as I ran over to her and pulled her to the side.
Just as I was doing that, Kyo decided to punch Haru in the face, making him fly to the wall of the room.
"I don't care what made you so angry, but whatever happened, don't take it own on Tohru." Kyo said as he looked at the crow sternly.
"Alright kitty-cat, wanna go?" Hatsuharu asked.
"This isn't the right place-." Kyo tried to say as he got cut off.
"Oh, so you're scared?"
"NO I'M NOT!" Kyo yelled.
"Then let's have at it."
Just as they were about to punch eachother, our homeroom teacher came in with a bucket of cold water and dumped it over Hatsu and Kyo.
"Ah! Why'd you have to splash me, he's the one seconds away from punching me!" Kyon said, aggravated.
"Well, you were only seconds away from doing the same thing." Ms. Shiraki said.
"How refreshing." Coconut said as he suddenly became light Haru.
"Great, now get that refreshed self of yours down to the faculty office." Ms. Shiraki replied, pushing Haru a bit to the door way. "Did he do this to you, Y/n?"
"No, I ran over to the window without realizing and bumped into a bit of the broken glass." I pointed towards the window, and where I pointed on the window still had a bit of blood on the glass that was still attached.
She confirmed and sent me to the nurses office.
Soon after, I walked out with a bandage on my arm and ran into Haru.
"What's going on, did everything go ok?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I guess. My mom's picking me up, though." He replied.
"Shouldn't you go to the front of the school and wait for her?"
"It'll be a while with her makeup and outfit choice, so I'm gonna go kill some time and clean up whatever I can of the mess I made."
"Oh, did you need help-."
"No, and I'm sorry for getting you hurt."
"It's no big deal. It was my fault for not looking or thinking about where I was leaping to in the first place." I nervously chuckled.
"It was still my fault, I kicked the chair towards you."
"Really, I'm fine. It's just a little scratch."
"No, it's a full wound. Because of me."
"Don't get yourself down. It was me, not you. I'm sure you're having a rough time right now as well."
"Yeah..."
We made it up a set of stairs and saw the others, Momiji, Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo.
He explained the same thing he had said to me previously about his mom's makeup and started heading to his home room.
"I don't think he should be alone right now." Momiji said.
"Yeah, I'm gonna go get him. Miss Honda, please go home without me." Yuki said as he started his way to Hastu.
"Same here, cya!" I said waving my hand and catching up with Yuki.
I could hear Momij say, "If anything huge happened to Haru, Yuki and Y/n are the ones to help fix that. I've seen those two in action around him." in the distance as me and Yuki ran up the stairs.
