Chapter 23: First Crush

                                    

                                          
(A/N: Chapters 23-25 takes place after Savvy left along with Reuben and Bianca, thus quitting G.U.N.)
                          
The whole story started out after Savvy quit G.U.N. She and her two currently-found friends were on a stroll in Forest Hill. Now, it was her first time to realize what she had been doing the whole time was wrong. You see, not only she moved on from her obsession with Shadow, but she also had a crush on someone else. And that someone else is the very first one. Confidence, recklessness and his skills in Extreme Gear were the first things that caught her attention. Thinking about him made her feel down on the inside, but she's too nervous to admit it to anyone.
                          
Her thoughts were cut off when Bianca asked her, "Savvy, are you okay?"
                          
"Huh?" she turned to her. "Yeah, I'm fine. Really fine."
                          
"You haven't been acting like yourself after we left and moved on from our obsessive life. Why is that, hmm?" Reuben asked her.
                          
"Guys, I'm fine. It's just... It's nothing important," replied Savvy as she continued to walk ahead of them.
                          
Both Bianca and Reuben noticed that something is really going on with Savvy, but they never wanted to ask her again because they didn't want to pressure their new friend. To their decision, they decided to walk in the same direction as Savvy's.
And while they're doing that, they both discussed to each other in whispers.
                          
"Savvy's been acting wierd lately. Should we ask her?" Bianca whispered questionably.
                          
"I noticed it too, but I think it's best if we give her time unil she's ready," Reuben whispered to her.
                          
"I know, but curiosity is overtaking me. Its force is making me wonder what's going on."
                          
"Yeah, mine too. Could she have possibly never moved on from her obsessive life?"
                          
"I don't know, which is why we'll find answers without giving her any pressure."
                          
"But how are we gonna do that?"
                          
"Trust me. Just give her time until she's ready, then when the time comes, actions will be shown."
                          
Reuben nodded at what Bianca had just said as they kept walking in Savvy's direction following her.
                          
When Savvy heard whispers ringing in her ears, nervousness struck through her. And even though she barely caught a single word, she's still nervous. The next thing they heard from the two was Bianca asking her in a normal voice.
                          
"Hey, how about we go shopping and eat lunch in the food court?"
                          
Savvy's body swifted to her and Reuben. A feeling of knowing that everything would be fine in the end occurred in her, but fear that she might admit her biggest secret was overtaking her. She hesitated for a few moments before nodding her head.
                          
"Sure. Why not?"
                          
"Yes," Bianca reacted as she dragged her fist down in enthusiasm. Her elbow was at her side after she did so.
                          
"Well, what are we waiting for, ladies? Let's go to Central City," said Reuben.
                          
With that being said, the trio headed to Central City to do some shopping.
                          
Timeskip to their arrival in Central City...
                          
The trio had mostly went shopping for clothes, but they're mostly browsing them. Bianca wanted to buy shiny and sparkly clothes, but when it comes to flashy appearance, Savvy shield her eyes from them. Reuben, on the other hand, thought Bianca would be beautiful in any style she wanted. Something told him there's some kind of connection with her, but he brushed that off ignoring it.
                          
Reuben would always prefer fancy men clothes like tuxedo, but Savvy thought it would be too cliche especially for men who might be into her mostly for her seductive actions. Bianca, on the other hand, liked Reuben the way he is. In any style he wanted to wear. Something told her that she too had some connection with it, but she brushed that off denying it.
                          
As for Savvy, she's into black, edgy and gothic clothes. Mostly those that fit to be a rockstar especially when it comes to hard rock. But above all, she preferred dark clothes thay balance between simple, edgy and gothic. Bianca and Reuben thought it might be odd for someone who's into rockstars, but nonetheless, they respect that because it fits her personality.
                          
After they paid for a few clothes of choice, they decided to stroll around the streets in Central City. And while they're doing that, a shadow enveloped them. They noticed it's not just any shadow. It's a really big one. They all looked up and saw that it was a blimp.
                          
"What's that blimp doing here?" asked Bianca.
                          
"I don't know. I'm just as curious as you, Bianca," replied Reuben.
                          
As for Savvy, once she looked up and saw the blimp, her jaw dropped in surprise. Because she recognized the blimp! Even before she joined G.U.N.
Bianca and Reuben noticed her reaction with their eyes filled with concern.
                          
"Savvy?" Bianca asked her.
                          
Then, once the blimp was out of sight, it was time for Savvy to tellthe first part of the truth "It's not just any blimp."
                          
"Then what is it?" asked Bianca.
                          
"That blimp..." she turned to her and Reuben. "...is owned by the Babylon Rogues."
