Sometimes it just takes
A little kindness
For you to remember who you are
To remember people care
I'll take that nice gesture,
And I'll tuck it away,
Try to pass it on
Because there's nothing better
Than feeling good inside
And nothing better than helping others feel
That same way
Life can hurt,
But we can still be kind
And make a big difference in someone's life,
Maybe,
Without even knowing it
That's happened to me
So I'll try to do the same for others
Help my heart feel better by helping someone else
Because, after all,
At some point,
All of us will need a little help
But that's alright
