Tony was adamant about stopping the vandal in their tracks before they could strike again. Luckily the arc reactor prototype he had presented at Stark Conference was a replica and not his actual invention but it was still a travesty for the media.
Let alone the fact that Spider-Man was shot because of it. Because of her.
Realising that Peter's suit had camera footage at all times when active, Tony used his AI system JARVIS to hook up to Peter's, KAREN.
"Jarvis, pull up KAREN footage from March 13th, 7:05pm," Tony instructed, spinning himself in his chair to look at the large screens in his workshop.
He saw Peter swing up to the rafters where the vandal was hiding. He saw Peter put his hands out to the vandal in an attempt to show them he wasn't there to hurt them. He heard Peter call the vandal by their name. He saw the vandal turn around.
He saw Y/N's face.

It had almost been two full weeks since Peter rejected Y/N's advances and they had spoken as many words to each other than Peter could count on his hands. He had texted her however, more times than imaginable.

I'll see you tonight maybe?Tonight their dorm building was hosting a rooftop cinema night where they were playing The Wolf of Wall Street. It was an odd choice of a movie to play for college students during the night on top of a dormitory roof. Yes, the roof was equipped with perfectly manicured gardens, comfy bed style lounges and a large projector was set up for this event - but the movie didn't particularly have great themes to be showing students.
MJ and Ned had a ritual when watching movies that they would pour a packet of Maltesers into their tubs of popcorn, so tonight they sat together with their microwaveable bags and small boxes of chocolate. Y/N sat behind them on a seperate outdoor lounge, stretching her legs out and lying flat in the bed. The movie had started, yet she had seen it before. She enjoyed the film, but she wasn't paying attention.
"Sorry, sorry!" Peter whispered, ducking down as he walked in front of other people's sight lines, causing people to groan and tell him to move. He had missed majority of the movie, partly because he had returned from Stark Tower in the afternoon and partly because he had completely forgotten.
"Hi Peter!" A girl in one of the front lounges called out, receiving a collection of 'shut up''s and 'shush''s from the audience of avid movie watchers.
"Um hello!" Peter responded politely back to the girl he didn't know, quickly running to where Ned, MJ and Y/N were laying.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm late," Peter said plonking down next to Y/N and getting a gruff 'shut the fuck up' from Ned as he turned around.
"Off your crutches I see. You're limping though... Looks painful," Y/N whispered, watching the screen and not looking towards Peter who made himself comfortable under the blankets next to her.
