What a wonderful paradise we've built ourselves,
A glittering, dazzling, perfect paradise
Where everything-everything-can be found at the tap of a finger
A wonderful, digital paradise
Oh, did I say paradise?
I meant prison
What if it's perfect in appearances only,
But falling apart at the seams?
What if all belonging, all the good-
What if that disappears?
Where does that leave us?
Worse off than before
So should be not trust it?
Not use the resources we have?
I don't know,
But as everything goes faster and faster,
It seems like I can only watch
As we create our own downfall
Rotted away from the inside,
Falling apart
Empty
Far, far from perfect
