Stefan and Malia walk into the school, hand in hand. This makes everyone smile. Mali has started to bloat over the last month and her breasts have also grown. She has to pee more and her cravings are, as Damon says, are disgustingly grosser. Right now, she's trying not to itch her itchy breasts as she and Stefan stop by her locker.
Once they've both stopped at their lockers, they head toward Alaric's classroom. Dana smiles widely at the pregnant girl as she takes her seat in front of Stefan. Soon enough, Alaric enters the classroom.
"Hello, class," Ric greets when the bell rings. "What are we learning today?"
"We've been covering the sixties all week," Dana claims. "The decade's dance is coming up."
"Right, the sixties," he murmurs.
The first thing Alaric/Klaus notices when he looks at the class is Malia's necklace. He recognizes the symbol instantly. It's his werewolf bloodline's symbol. This tells him he does have family. He then looks at Elena, his doppelgänger. Klaus's doppelgänger. He stares at her before he turns the board.
"The, Uh, ahem..." Alaric/Klaus clears his throat, and he writes on the board. "The sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but... actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the... we walked on the moon. There was Watergate."
"Watergate was in the seventies, Ric," Malia speaks up and everyone looks at her. "What? He said we could call him that on his first day, didn't he?"
"Right. It all kind of mushes together out here," Alaric/Klaus says. "The sixties, the seventies. Thank you, Malia." He had to fish through Alaric's memories just to know her name.
"You're welcome," Malia replies and she winks over at Stefan, who rolls his eyes at her. ~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~
Malia is sitting with Bonnie at lunch, thinking about Stefan with a warm smile. She has two slices of pizza, some corn, a chocolate pudding, and a cherry coke from the cafeteria and she made Damon bring her tacos and her tube of ranch from the boarding house for lunch. She's been eating more. And here lately? Ranch dressing seems to go on every single thing that she eats.
Elena sits with them once she has left Jeremy. "What's going on?"
"I told him he had to dress to tonight and he got all uptight," Bonnie replies.
"I'm dressing up as a sixties go-go dancer," Malia says with a smile, making Bonnie and Elena chuckle, but then Dana walks over to their lunch table.
"Hey Elena, there you are," Dana says. "Okay. This is going to sound freaky but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight."
