Chapter Fourteen

                                    

                                          



The day had come. Today was the day they attended Tom's event, the day she would see Tom again. Of course Chris forbid her from coming in contact with Tom without him there and she would not be able to speak to anyone else. 
                          
She felt nervousness pool in her stomach. Would Tom notice her? Would anyone notice her? She shivered as she thought of leaving the event without anyone saving her and the thought of coming back to be trapped inside the room again made her stomach jolt. 
                          
Chris handed her the flask and she took a large swig, the liquid burning her throat as it went down and she gaged when she took the bottle away from her mouth.
                          
"Don't you dare throw it up, Malina." Chris said harshly, tagging a swig from his own flask. "It took my three months to make this potion."
                          
Things have been weird between them. She could of swore Chris was bipolar because he would switch moods every hour. Sometimes he would be loving and sweet to her and then he would be rude and harsh. Ever since their intimate night, she felt uncomfortable around him and she felt disgusted with herself that she was so desperate for Tom, she let another man touch her. 
                          
She met with Chris's gaze and his eyes softened. His fingers reached her jaw and she fought off the urge to back away. Instead, she let him trace her jaw.
                          
"I'm sorry for yelling at you, sweetheart." Yep. She was going to throw up. "I'm just stressed about tonight. You promise you won't run off, right?" He asked, his mouth inches away from her.
                          
"I promise." She lied. She hoped if there was a chance, she would be able to run off. So she lied to ease his worry.
                          
"Good girl." He backed away from her and his face had started to morph. His hair went from the usual black to a blonde and his jaw became less sharp, his eyes turned a dark shade of brown.
                          
She felt herself change too. When she looked down her hair had become a black and as she looked in the mirror, her eyes were a deep green.
                          
"Come on Malina. Let's go see your Dark Lord."
                          
Sorry for the short chapter guys! I've been busy  lately and I haven't had much time to write. but.. I hope you enjoyed! Things are starting to pick up :))
