When exam season finally arrived, Celia was more stressed than ever.
She was revising so hard, that she sometimes fell asleep in the common room, with her head in a book.
On the night before her very first exam, Benjamin managed to get her out of the castle, to walk with him.
"I really should be studying" admitted Celia.
"I know it's your first exam tomorrow. But if you haven't learnt what you need to by now, then it's too late. Besides, you've been studying so hard these past few weeks, so it's time you had a break" replied Benjamin.
"I know I've been rather distant lately. But I promise that once my exams are over, I will have all the time in the world, to give to you" insisted Celia."You know that I'm going to hold you to that promise" grinned Benjamin.
"I thought you might. And it will be nice to get my head off my exams and talk about something else... Do you know yet what you're going to do in September?" Asked Celia.
Benjamin sighed, "I know I don't have long to decide, but I've honestly got no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life".
"I don't either. But at least I still have two more years to make up my mind"
"I know that I should have put more thought into it. But it's hard to plan your future, when you're not at home"
"Are you looking forward to going back to France?"
"I am. But I don't plan on staying there for long".Celia frowned, "You don't?".
"No, I'm coming over in the summer holidays to see you" announced Benjamin.
"What if I don't want to see you?" Teased Celia.
"Meanie. I'll be coming over anyway to see my grandparents and cousins. But I'll probably end up staying longer than my dad, so that I can see you" replied Benjamin.
"Are you planning on introducing me to your parents?"
"That depends"
"On what?"
"On whether you're going to introduce me to your parents".Celia bit her lip awkwardly, "I'm not sure. I mean, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if you met my mum. But I'm not planning on spending any time with my dad, during the holidays. So if I introduced the two of you, I would have to talk to him".
"You can't avoid talking to him forever" admitted Benjamin.
"Maybe not. But I'm going to try my best not to, because I hate him"
"That is understandable, since he hasn't exactly been very nice to you. But he is still your father, whether you like it or not"
"Yeah, I know"."Will you write to me, when I'm back in France?" Asked Benjamin.
"You know that I will" reassured Celia.
"Long letters?" Questioned Benjamin.
"Oh yes. I will be sending long essays to you every single day".
Benjamin smiled, "I look forward to reading them".
"I will expect long letters back in return" replied Celia.
"Don't worry, I will send equally lengthy novels back to you" informed Benjamin.
"Good"."Well, since it is your first exam tomorrow, I wanted to give you a good luck charm" announced Benjamin later than evening.
"You must think that I'm not going to pass with ease, if I need a good luck charm" admitted Celia.
"I'm sure you will pass with flying colours. But I still want to give you something from me, to bring you luck" replied Benjamin.
"What is it?" Asked Celia curiously.
Benjamin smiled and placed his hand into his pocket before bringing out a silver chain with a C and a B on."It's a very small bracelet" commented Celia.
"That's because it doesn't go around your wrist, it goes around your ankle. It's an ankle bracelet, otherwise known as an anklet" explained Benjamin.
"It's beautiful" blushed Celia.
"I had it made with the first letters of our names on. You can wear it under your robes and no one will see it. It also won't be too distracting for you when you're in the exam. It won't jangle when you're frantically writing either"
"It is perfect. Thank you for getting me such a lovely gift"
"You're welcome"."Would you like to do the honours?" Asked Celia, as she handed the anklet over to Benjamin.
He took the anklet back before dropping down to one knee.
Celia then raised her robes slightly and offered her right leg to Benjamin.
He then carefully tied the anklet around Celia's leg, and her heart skipped a beat every time his skin touched hers.Once it was done, Benjamin stood back to his feet and laced his fingers in hers.
"You look beautiful" he whispered, as he looked into Celia's eyes.
"I should be getting back to the tower" mumbled Celia.
Benjamin sighed, "I know. But I don't want you to go".
"I don't want to leave you either" replied Celia.
Benjamin then leaned forward and kissed Celia on the lips as his fingers began entwining themselves in her hair.
Not wanting the moment to end, Celia kissed him back with just as much passion, and she placed her arms around him, drawing him in close to her. When the pair eventually drew apart, they said their goodbyes and Celia headed back to the castle feeling like she was on cloud 9.
She was so happy with how the evening had gone, that she wasn't looking where she was going and ended up bumping into someone.
"I'm so sorry" apologised Celia.
She looked at who she had walked into, and realised that it was Professor Moody, who had been heading out of the dungeons in quite a hurry.
"You had better watch where you are going, Miss Diggory" said Moody gruffly.
"Yes, I'm so sorry Professor" insisted Celia."This is not the time to be walking around the castle late at night. Especially as you were attacked not that long ago, by someone who has not yet been caught" reminded Moody.
"I know. I hadn't realised how late it had gotten" admitted Celia.
"Well, keep yourself safe. Don't go taking any unnecessary risks. You know what I always say"
"Constant vigilance"
"Exactly. Now get going, and don't let Snape or Filch catch you out of bed"
"I won't. Good night Professor".
Although Celia thought it was strange that Moody had been heading out of the dungeons, she didn't want to question him, since he hadn't punished her for being out of bed late. So, she decided to forget about it and head back to Ravenclaw tower as quickly as possible.
