Such a beautifully designed house was total garbage on the inside

Such a beautifully designed house was total garbage on the inside. It was stinking from the leftover food, and unwashed clothes. The smell of the used bear made her nauseated. She couldn't bear the disgusting odour and she just couldn't keep her hands off this while she was a cleanliness freak. She glared harder at Laksh. If looks could have killed someone then Laksh would be nothing but a piece of meat roasting in the flames.

Laksh smiled sheepishly and ran out of the house. Ragini wasn't shocked to see this side of him. She shook her head in disbelief and tied her hair into a messy bun and started to clean the house.

While Laksh returned after some time with some covers in his hand, he saw that the house was spotlessly clean. He realized that his paradise never looked like an actual paradise until it was cleaned. Ragini was really good at everything she did.

He went searching for her when he saw her balancing on a chair and was removing some pieces of cutlery. He stood by the door with arms folded across his chest and did nothing other than admiring her. She couldn't balance herself and she was about to crash into the ground hence she closed her eyes when she felt that she didn't kiss the ground but was held by two arms which had a gentle and sturdy grip on her. She opened her eyes to see herself in Laksh's arms and she gazed at his eyes which had nothing but concern and fear in them. Laksh made her reposition herself and glared at her angrily.

Laksh: What was the need for you to climb up?
Ragini: I had to fetch cutlery for us to cook something.
Laksh (shaking his head in disbelief): you are my guest here. Did you seriously think that I would let you cook or would let your rot in hunger?
Saying this he dragged her to the living room and showed her a cover which had food, room freshener, a juice can and a few beer bottles. Ragini looked away.

Laksh thought of spraying the freshner but Ragini had cleaned his house so well that there was no need for it.

Laksh: So how did you like my Paradise?
Ragini: If I could ever change the meanings of the world in the dictionary I'd definitely change the meaning of paradise and put a picture of this over there.
Laksh: So cheesy.
Ragini: No, this is PARADISE. It just feels so right to stay over here. How did you get this place? It must have cost you a fortune.
Laksh: Not really. I saw a poor man drenching in the rain and begging for a job. I just went to give him some money. He said that he's not a beggar and cannot accept money for free. So I asked him to construct a treehouse for me and he did. I was so impressed by the vintage look with a modern touch that I offered him double of what I offered before. I like this place so much that I call it my Paradise.

Ragini just went awe looking at the gesture. He was really a gentleman. She wished that things were never this complicated. She wished that Laksh liked her just as she liked him. She wished they were engaged. She wished for a lot of things but she knew that none of it was going to happen. She knew that even if Laksh liked her back she could never ever trust him in their relationship. He broke her heart twice. She couldn't describe how she felt. She then realised that she had made up her mind to put her feelings aside and be a gentleman towards Laksh.
