CHAPTER 07- THE BETRAYAL AND FORGIVENESS

                                    

                                          
Sanskaar sighed. He knew that this day would eventually come. He took a deep breath and went to his room and came back with a photograph. He showed it to everyone. Some eyes had confusion and some had sorrow but two pairs of eyes (Lakshya's and Durga Prasad's)were filled with rage.
                          
Sanskaar: This is the reason for my revenge. The name of the person in this photo is………. 
                          
Lakshya : Advik (played by Nakul Mehta)
                          
Lakshya hoarsely whispered it. But one could clearly see the anger that was rising in him. His breath was sharp and short. He looked like a majestic beast who was trying to control his temper. Before he could use any other swear words DurgaPrasad intervened
                          
DP: LAKSH , let your brother speak. You can throw all your tantrums later 
                          
Lakshya wanted to protest but seeing the eyes of his father he kept his mouth shut. He went near a wall and banged it so hard that even Sanskaar was worried that Lakshya would break his hand. Unable to tolerate this Durga Prasad roared.
                          
DP: LAKSH, COME BACK AND BEHAVE. YOUR BROTHER HAS SOMETHING TO SAY. LET HIM FINISH YOU CAN TELL HIM EVERYTHING LATER. IF YOU DO ANY OF THIS ONE MORE TIME I WILL THROW YOU OUT OF THE HOUSE.
                          
Everyone including Sanskaar was confused seeing Laksh's anger towards Advik. Laksh took 2-4 deep breaths and came near Sanskaar and Ragini. He saw that picture. Anger raised to his peaks but somehow he couldn't control it. He dragged someone into his room and locked it. 
                          
Everyone was shocked because he had dragged Ragini along with him. Except Swara, Adarsh and Pari, everyone was worried what's gonna happen between them. But these three knew that there was something else to all of this. How could Laksh possibly take only Ragini with him when there were so many other people. He did not even consider his so-called love. This made it even more clear for them and they were even more determined to unite the couple.
                          
Inside the room, Laksh banged his hand on the wall and it started to bleed. Ragini, unable to see all this, held his hand near the bed, searched for the first aid box and started to aid his hand. Throughout this Ragini's eyes were tearing and Laksh looked at her with gratefulness. Once she did the aid and placed the box aside she stood up to go, when Laksh held her hand, dragged her near him and made her sit on his lap and hugged her. It was gentle and passionate. For Laksh it was his way of thanking her whereas for Ragini it was a rollercoaster of emotions. She could feel butterflies in her stomach. She had goosebumps all over her body. Her face was completely pink and her heart was racing like a marathon. She wanted to withdraw herself but her body had different plans. Her hands involuntarily went to hug him and ruffle his hair. He felt a kind of peace. He felt solace but then the realisation dawned on her and she took her hands back and suddenly Laksh too realised what he was doing and left her. She immediately woke up to find herself all crimson red. Laksh was also very embarrassed. He had hugged many girls but never so passionately. He had no answers to his question. He saw Ragini composing herself by taking deep breaths and then asked him to come out. He did not protest and followed her. They came down and Ragini went to stand with Swara whereas Laksh was staring at his room with quite uncertainty. He then turned to face Sanskaar. His eyes were teary and they met the raging eyes of Sanskaar which showed hurt and anger.
                          
Sanskaar: Now if everyone is done I would like to tell you what happened. I want everyone to know that something broke me so hard that I had to stay away from my family and plot this Revenge. It all started five years back. I had a best friend named Advik. He had been my buddy for the past many years. We went to college together and everything was going well. Eventually Laksh too joined the college and we three became the best of best friends. We used to hangout everytime. If Advik was not found in his house in the morning, his mom wouldn't care but she would call her and tell mom or maa to tell him to come home before going to college. Same was our case. We were always close and we were collectively known as THE THREE MUSKETEERS. Life was too good to be true. We used to be pranksters and also we used to help Lucky in his studies and then we all used to play basketball like old times.
