"What? NO!" Lucas says instantly. "What would make you think that?"
"Well...", I start in a voice that trembles a little. "Every time she's nearby, you seem off. From the way you look at her I see so many emotions in your eyes that I can't understand. And this morning...", I stop as a tear escapes my eye and I find it difficult to breathe.
"It's not like what you think, Swan", he reassures me calmly.
"Then explain it to me, Lucas. Tell me what do you feel when you look at her?" I demand answers as I look up at him and tears continue to seep my cheeks.
He seems hesitant, unsure of what to do or what to say to make me stop crying. I wonder what happened between him and Eunjoo that he doesn't want to talk about.
"If you love me, Lucas, you shouldn't hide things from me", I tell him.
"I'm sorry", For a moment, my heart stops beating, thinking he's going to break up with me, but then he continues, "I didn't want to show you my vulnerable side, because I wanted to be someone that you could rely on". I see sadness and guilt in his eyes. Before I can ask for further explanation, he speaks again. "She broke my heart. Whenever I see her, I remember what she did. Anger is all I feel when I look at her", Lucas finally reveals.

Lucas' POV:
I sit on the sofa, in Swan's living room, while she takes a seat on the couch chair. She still seems a little distant although I made it clear to her that I only love her.
I don't know why she's so curious about my first love, but if that's something that she really wants to hear about, then I'll tell her my story.
"It was before grade eight when I first met her", I start to remember the first time I saw Eunjoo as I look at Swan. "That year, my parents had decided to send me to a summer camp and there we met."
I still remember I couldn't move my eyes away from her for even a single second. I sure might have seen like a creep. My heart raced like a super car when our eyes met (A/N : reference to SuperM in case nobody noticed ;)) . I could say it was love at first sight.
"During those few weeks of summer, we got closer to each other." I continue to remember. "We became friends."
Of course, I wasn't the one who spoke to her first, I was too shy. She took the first step. While talking to her, sometimes I felt stupid. She was very smart. She was the perfect definition of beauty with brains. I mean she still is.
