The next morning had come. Sayaka had woken up, though she didn't even remember going to sleep. She just layed there silently. She blamed herself quite a but for what happened, but she had to let it slide. The only way to escape together was to keep calm. She heard someone knock on her door...
                          
Makoto: "Hey Sayaka...can I come in?"
                          
She jumped up and quickly opened the door. She was excited to see him again, but he had a stern look on his face.
                          
Sayaka: "Makoto....are you okay?"
                          
Makoto stepped in the room and sighed.
                          
Makoto: "Sayaka are you sure you didn't try to hurt anyone?"
Sayaka: "W-what? No!"
                          
Sayaka was looking away.
                          
Makoto: "...Do you promise?"
Sayaka: "Yes! I wouldn't betray you Makoto!"
                          
Sayaka was nervous, but there was still truth to her words. She would never try to hurt Makoto.
                          
Makoto: "...Im not sure....I am so sorry Maizono...I guess last night had me on edge."
                          
He still seemed very uncertain.
                          
Sayaka took his hands in hers. 
                          
Sayaka: "Hey- if we can't trust eachother, who can we trust? We just gotta keep our chins up! We can do this if we stay together!"
                          
Makoto smiled.
                          
Makoto: "R..right...!"
                          
They both took their hands awkwardly away and laughed it off. Makoto started walking out, and as he headed off, Sayaka saw Makoto crumple up a note and throw it away.
