Clay had just arrived in Hurricane, it was already dark, but the detective needs to talk to (Y / n). The only problem is that the man had no idea where the young woman lived, Clay only knew that she worked at Freddy's.

Of course! He just needed to talk to William Afton or Henry Emily. So Clay decided to go to Afton's house before visiting Henry, since William had always known how to answer questions more clearly.

Clay got out of his car towards the house, he could see a bluish light through the window. He knew William was probably in the room.

The detective knocked on the door a few times and waited a few moments.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

William was in the living room, sitting on the sofa, Elizabeth was sleeping propped up on her father's arm. The child had fallen asleep while watching some drawings, that's when the man heard a knock at the door.

William arranged his daughter carefully on the sofa and went to answer the door. He imagined it was Henry who had come to apologize, but when he opened the door, William ran into Clay Burke, the two had known each other since the time of the Freddy's disappearances, so the detective just said.

           "Good night, Mr Afton."

"Good night, Detective Burke" William paused briefly "Do you need anything?"

"Yes, I have been investigating a crime that has occurred for a few months, I do not know if you heard about the Bryan Pierce case."

            William nodded.

"Yes, I heard about it, poor guy ... It was a horrible crime."

"Yes, it really was a horrible crime" agreed the detective, so William spoke.

"I still don't understand why you came to me to talk about it."

"Well, I found out that Bryan Pierce was dating a girl named (Y / n) (Your last name) and then I remembered that she worked at Freddy's."

"Ah yes, you want to know more about (Y / n)."

              "Exactly."

William then spoke sympathetically to the man.

"Let's come in, Detective, I think I can help you with some information."

Clay nodded and followed William into the house.

The two entered the kitchen and William said.

"Sit down, detective." William walked over to the refrigerator. "Do you have anything to drink? I have beer and soda" The older man took a bottle of beer for himself and Clay replied.

           "I accept a soda."

William nodded, taking a can of Coke and held it out to Clay as he took his place in front of the young detective.

"So, Detective Burke, what do you want to know about (Y / n)?" William asked, taking a sip of his beer. Clay took a small notebook from his coat pocket.

"Well, Mr. Afton, any information is valid, but I will start with some specific questions."

         "All right."

"So, how (Y / n) behaves at work?" Clay asked "Does she behave suspiciously?"

The older one took another sip of his beer.

"Well, detective, (Y / n) is a great employee, she always treated everyone very well, especially the children."

Clay shook his head as he wrote down the man's words.

"She said something about Bryan being violent? or about some other boyfriend? Or did you not have that kind of conversation?"

         William sighed.

"I will be honest with you, Detective Burke, in the last few months I got involved with (Y / n)" Clay took his eyes off the paper and looked at William with an air of surprise and curiosity, but let the man continue "we were engaged , but then we had an argument and (Y / n) decided to leave me. I believe she has moved to another city."

Clay took a few moments to process that information, but then he asked.

"Mr. Afton, can you tell me how this discussion went?"

"Well, Detective Burke, it was a normal discussion, jealous, you know? Every couple goes through this."

"Do you think this fight was enough for her to leave you like this?"

William sipped the beer again and nodded.

"Yes, you know, (Y / n) she is much younger than me ... Sometimes it's normal for her to still act childish ..." William paused, took another sip of her drink and said "Detective, I'm sorry for the question, but why are you so interested in (Y / n)?"

        Clay scratched his head.

"Well, Mr. Afton... As I told you, (Y/n) she was dating Bryan and a few months before the boy disappeared, she left the city where she lived, not caring about the college she was attending or her job , just like you did."

       "You mean she is suspicious?"

        Clay nodded and completed.

"We still don't know what kind of person we're dealing with, so I ask you to be careful."

William nodded and the policeman stood up indicating he was on his way out

"Well, Mr. Afton, I think I've already taken up a lot of your time ... Thank you very much for the information."

"No problem, Detective." He stood up. "If I get any other information, I'll be in touch." The two men walked towards the door and William opened it for Clay. The detective then advised him again.

"Stay tuned for anything, Mr. Afton and thanks again."

"You're welcome" William smiled. "I Will stay tuned" The older man paused  "It's amazing how appearances can be deceiving, (Y / n) he was always so sweet to me and my kids ..."

Clay nodded, taking a step out of the house and spoke like that.

"You are right ... Good night, Mr. Afton."

          "Good night, Detective Burke."

The policeman walked away, walking towards his car, so William closed the door with a grim smile that carried a certain pride.
