I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.

Lily

Saphire was young. Long dark curly hair, thick dark make up rimming her eyes, body in a leather jacket and jeans. She looked around with a wand in her fingers. I gulped, standing by mum, holding her hand as she coughed and caught her breath. Albus stood dangerous beside dad. James raised his wand.

"The Potters? At my home?" She grinned. She was already evil.

"We just came to reason, Saphire." Mum spoke and I squeezed her hand, "We mean you no harm."

"Yeah. Delphi said you will play innocent. You killed my mother, how do you not mean any harm? I read. You put my dad in Azkaban."

"He tried to kill people. It wasn't under my control." Dad growled.

"Yes, it was. You could've let him go. He was just doing what he could to get his family back."

"I thought you were his family." James snickered coldly, "What? Dearest Daddy decided to choose a distant improbable grandchild over his very own?" He grinned. He was pulling at her strings.

"Who are you to speak to me?" Saphire hissed.

"Well wisher, honey." He shrugged.

"Dad was trying to give me a family. You took away my mum. Drove my sister away to Merlin knows where. He had to do something for me."

"Oh, really? Then how come he told us where you were?" Dad added and James gulped, almost faltering.

"What?" Saphire chuckled, disbelieving.

"That's right. We offered him a deal. He agreed to give you all away for his freedom."

"He can't do that."

"Really?" Dad raised a brow, "Then how come I'm here?"

"You lie." She hissed, and raised her wand.

"Expelliarmus."

Her wand flew away into Uncle Ed's fingers, who stood by the door. She roared and charged at Dad but then he exclaimed a spell and she froze. She was completely frozen and squeezing within herself and burst to pieces. I gasped and turned into mum. She wrapped an arm around my shoulders as we watched the dark pieces disintegrate. Dad huffed and looked around. Albus grunted, getting to his feet. He was so dusty and still bruised. Dad shook his head and pulled him in a hug. Albus released a loud breath in his embrace, tired.

Soon, we made our way back outside. Uncle Ed showed us the group of ten men strapped in a pile. All of them knocked out.

"I'll call a team after these three leave." Dad spoke and my heart sank. This was the end.

Mum looked at the three of us and we did the two of them.

"Well, this is it." Mum spoke with a smile. Her lips were trembling and now she was crying quietly. I looked up at Dad and was surprised to see his eyes tearful as well but with a grin on his lips. He looked at us... proudly. We made Harry Potter proud. We made our dad proud.

We always wondered why our father was so famous but looking at him now, I could tell... it was enevr his fault. The man was put in the crossfire of everything. I mean, future kids, who even thinks of that... much less a man who was probably still learning to be a dad. The way his chest puffed and he was taking in deep breaths, showed how much in disbelief yet content he was. He was looking at all of three of us and when he nodded barely an inch, I knew what he was telling himself.
