CHAPTER : 25

                                    

                                          
They finally reached their house. Virat offered Sai to drop her at her house and then he will go back to Samrat's. When they reached Sai's house, they saw Samrat, Pakhi and Vir standing at her house's main entrance.
                          
Virat was perplexed seeing the concern and confused face on the strange man standing with Samrat and Pakhi. Although the expression on all the three faces were same but Virat was getting confused and curious to know who that strange man was and what he was doing in front of Sai's house so late at night.
                          
Vir saw Sai coming with Virat and he boiled in anger. He has already warned her to stay away from any other man and there she was breaking all his rules and coming home late with a man that to she was looking happy with that man, more than she is with him. He clenched his jaws and make a fist, trying to control his anger. 
                          
Sai saw Samrat and Pakhi standing at her gate and she smiled at them. Suddenly she saw Vir and the anger on his face and her smile vanishes. She was scared and wanted to run away from there but she knows that she have to end things with Vir as she just can't break his trust and betray him by marrying him and loving Virat. She knows that she have to face him some day so why not today. She gathered courage and stepped forward to reach the place where the trio were standing. 
                          
Samrat: Virat, Sai, kaha chale gaye the tum dono? Pata hai hume kitni chinta ho rahi thi? 
                          
Samrat said with a cool and relaxed expression. He was just pretending to be worried about them to show Vir his concerns for his sister and brother . Else he was happy to see them together and knows that nothing could have gone wrong with them because they were together with each other. 
                          
Pakhi: ha sai, kaha thi tum? Pata hai mujhe or Samrat ko kitni chinta ho rahi thi tum dono ki? Par ab tum dono ko ek saath dekh na toh aacha lag raha hai.
                          
Pakhi emphasised on them being together and looked at Vir to see his reaction. She was also happy to see them together that too smiling and laughing with each other rather than fighting or sheading tears. 
                          
Although, both Pakhi and Samrat were extremely shocked to see both Virat and Sai coming together, laughing and passing smiles to one another instead of fighting or Sai shouting on Virat or the fight between them to see who shed the most of their tears. They were very much happy to see both of them together and were somewhat enjoying looking at Vir who was clearly not happy seeing them together.
                          
 Sai replied looking at Vir, trying to give him an explanation and hoping that her excuse can make him any less angry.
                          
Sai: Vo hum park mein the, or mera phone bhi dead ho gaya tha, issiliye aap logo ko mein inform nahi kar pai. Sorry! 
                          
Vir, listening to Sai's explanation got more angry and grinded his teeth in anger. He knew that she was just giving some random explanation to melt down his anger. Although he was angry but she spoke in a very sweet and caring voice in front of all of them especially Samrat.
                          
Vir: Koi baat nahi daring, par kya tum mujhe apne naye dost se nahi milvaogi? Akhir mein bhi toh janu ki itna bhi kon khaas hai jiske saath tum itni raat ko ghar wapas aa rahi ho?
                          
Vir had a polite tone but the anger behind his voice was  heard by Sai and she was again scared from him. she wanted to solve all this created mess by her own because she was the only one who has created all this mess.  She knows that both Samrat and Virat will not be able to control their anger and will definitely do something bad with him if she told them about his behavior with her. She wanted to solve this matter on her own and will have to return the ring back to him as she don't belong in the place of Vir's wife. She looked at Virat's face and the confusion and shock was clearly visible on his face.
                          
Virat was confused seeing some random man calling Sai 'darling' and how he was standing so close to her. He was burning with jealousy and his anger was starting to climb at the peak of the mountain. 
                          
Sai: Vir, yeh Mr. Virat Chawan hai, samrat dada ke bhai or Virat, yeh  Dr. Vir Obeori hai, hum saath mein hi kam karte hai....
                          
Before she can say any further, Vir interrupted her and put his hand on her waist pulling her closer to him. She was uncomfortable yet she stayed silent looking at Virat's face which was surely displaying the feeling of anger and she knows that he was getting hurt seeing her with someone else as she was now fully aware of his feeling for her.
                          
Vir: Or iss gorgeous lady ka fiancée.
                          
Vir completed his words with a light smrink on his face. Virat noticed that smile on his face but what he noticed the most was his hand on Sai's waist. He looked at Sai's eyes and get the conformation that the person standing next to her was really her fiancée. He had hoped that at least today he could have lived a day only with Sai as they were meeting each other after so long but he mentally slapped himself for even thinking like that knowing that she already belongs to someone else. The tears once again started forming inside his eyes. But he choose to smile, only for the sake of his love's happiness. He put his hands forward to shake Vir's hands and greeted him with a smile.
                          
 Samrat and Pakhi were out of the world shocked seeing Virat smiling and greeting Vir with smile. They just cannot understand why Virat was not angry and why he was smiling at the man with whom he should be fighting for his love. Sai noticed Virat's strange behavior and looked in his eyes and everything started to make sense. She knows that he was not happy rather he was just pretending to be happy. The words which he has said came to her mind. 
                          
"Mein srif or srif tumhari kushi chahata hu or kuch nahi. Or agar tumhari kushi kisi or ke saath hai toh mein tumhe roku ga nahi. Mein tumse pyaar karta tah or karta rahunga. Mein bas itna chahata hu ki tum kush raho bhale hi chahe uske liye mein zindagi bhar akele rehne ko tayaar hu. Bas ek baat yaad rakhna ki mein tumse humesha pyaar karta rahunga. Or agar kabhi bhi, kahi bhi ,kisi ki bhi zarurat ho, tumhe apni zindagi mein, toh yeh Virat Chavan humesha tumhare saath rahega. Mere liya mere pyaar ki kushi se badh ke or kuch nahi hai."
