A/N

Hello, lovely readers! Another chapter coming to you a day late... oops. I don't have any good excuses, other than I'm now on summer vacation and have lost all concept of time XD. I'll try to be on time next Tuesday! Enjoy chapter 5! :)

Dex

Smoke was everywhere. Dex barely could see anything, but another gust of wind had knocked him off his feet. It wasn't fair fighting a Guster. He barely could get his hands on Trix with all of the wind swarming around him.

Just then, Trix fell to the ground. Just like that.

"What?" Dex said, wondering if this was a trick.

"DEXTER ALVIN DIZZNEE!! WHAT HAVE YOU GOTTEN YOURSELF INTO WITHOUT ME?!?!? DID YOU THINK I COULDN'T HANDLE IT!?!?!?" a voice said from behind.

Dex gasped when he realized it was Biana. "BIANA, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!!!!"

"NOT WITHOUT YOU!" Biana flickered into view right next to Dex, and she grabbed his hand.

They looked each other in the eyes. Why did Biana have to be so convincing?

"Fine. You can stay, but I need you to stay hidden," Dex said.

"Uh-uh. I will help fight and you can't stop me." Biana vanished again and was who knows where.

"UGH! BIANA AMBERLY VACKER!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!" Dex yelled.

Just then he heard a sudden scream, and of course, it was Biana.

"BIANA!" Dex said, his voice cracking.

He should've left with her. He never wanted Biana to get hurt. Never. He had to find her.

He was turning around and around, but it was too smoky in the circular part of the cave to see anything.

Sophie accidentally ran into Dex and tumbled to the ground. Dex helped her up, and Sophie looked bewildered.

"We need a Mesmer," Sophie said at the same time Dex said, "Do you know where Biana is?"

"WHAT!?! BIANA'S HERE!?!?!" Sophie screamed.

Just then, they heard a huge crashing noise. Then another scream which was obviously Biana.

"BIANA?!?!" Dex yelled, his eyes were starting to tear up. He had to find Biana, and fast.

Dex was running around the circular room, looking in every nook and cranny for Biana. Finally, he saw Biana on the ground.

Her eyes were open, and she was breathing.

Dex sighed a sigh of relief and collapsed to the ground.

"Biana, I was so worried," Dex said.

"Dex, look out," Biana breathed.

Dex didn't even know what he was running from, but he grabbed Biana and ran to where Marella was.

"Marella, I can't see anything!" Dex complained, still carrying Biana.

"That's the point," Marella said.

"Ugh, we really need a Psionipath," Dex mumbled.

"Tell me about it, but our Psionipath is currently not a Psionipath if you know what I mean." Marella reasoned. "And if you asked Maruca, well you know. She won't leave Ruy."

"Oh I know, but we have to try. It's the only way. Can you cover me while I hail her?" Dex asked.

"Sure," Marella said.
