"Okay, let's do this again... Grovel, humans! My name is Power!" The girl introduced herself as Denji and I sat on the floor. She looked down at us while Makima stood beside her.
Power crossed her arms as Makima began questioning us. Maintaining that positive, yet grim face, she spoke her words. "So. Care to explain why the two of you were stripping each other down?"
"It was Aki!" Denji pointed at me. I felt a surge of anger rise as I almost smack Denji again. Thankfully I was able to restrain myself.
I gritted my teeth and just glared at him. Not saying any word is the best for this scenario since it will most likely make this situation much worse.
"Well... I really can't blame you. Try not to force yourself on others. Copy that, Hayakawa?" Makima smirked. I sighed, knowing that it was just a joke.
"Ah! That was so reckless." Denji nervously chuckled as I gave him another deadly glare. "But what's going on, Makima? Why'd you suddenly come with some girl?"
I glanced at Denji's eyes. It was focused on Power's chest.
That pervert.
"Power is going to be staying with you. Her parents are taking care of something important so I was tasked with keeping watch." She smiled gently. "However, I would like for her to stay here until I look for an empty house where all of us can fit together."
"T-Together?!" Denji stood up in excitement. I've only met him yesterday, but I'm sure of what he's thinking of.
Moreover, another troublemaker I need to keep watching? My balls will be saggy by tomorrow morning, I swear.
"Yup, I'll also be giving you this card. You can use them to buy whatever you want," She handed Power the credit card then hid her hands in her pocket. "But try not to spend too much, okay? That's for the three of you to manage?"
"Give me that." I took it from Power's hand then placed it at the back of my phone.
"Well, that's what I came for. Denji, locating Ponchita is my job, so take it easy." She then smiled while she made her way out of my apartment. "See ya."
"A-Alright. I'll see ya!" Denji replied.
"Thank you, Ms. Makima!" Power waved.
I followed her behind. And before I closed the door, I said goodbye.
"I know it's hard," Makima frowned. "But you need to control the situation until Himeno comes back, okay?"
Hearing her name brought joy to my eyes. I haven't seen Himeno for so long... I'm dying to meet her now.
"She's coming back? When?" I asked.
"Secret. It's a surprise, Hayakawa boy." She smiled gently. Makima placed her hand on my shoulder then looked at me with sincerity. "Hang in there, Aki. Do your best and treat those two like your bratty siblings."
I just nodded since I can't possibly go against her.
"Goodnight." She yawned before walking away.
"Yeah... I wish I'll have a goodnight." I muttered to myself.
After closing the door, I looked at Power and Denji who sat on the floor as they watched the t.v.
Sigh... Time to cook these dipshits dinner.
"Alright, dipshits. I'll cook dinner." I announced as they cheered.
"No! Let me cook." Power intrigued.
"Never." I glared at her then began preparing our dinner.
After cooking, Denji and Power began lunging on the food. They made tons of mess on the table. I couldn't do anything but just threaten to stab them and throw them on a farm if they don't clean the entire table.
