Part Fourteen: If Someone Comes To Us This Time I'm Ready

                                    

                                          
"So you are Ansel, the guy Elena's been hooking up all around the Europe?" Elena narrowed her eyes as Klaus smirked and held Elena closer. "Yes, who could have guessed that a witch like her could spend her time on a vampire like me"
"He is a vampire? Elena's taste in men gets better and better trough the species" Damon Salvatore commented unnecessarily which made Elena to huff and Klaus to frown. Damon smirked and looked back to the newly found, highly odd couple. "Oh, Elena didn't tell you? Human, werewolf, and now a vampire. Oh wait, but there was also another vampire-" Damon fell to the ground as Elena snapped her fingers. Klaus chuckled and snaked his arms around her waist. "Nothing I don't know and nothing I care"
Veronica was looking at the couple with uneasiness, mostly because Elena was not really looking at her direction. Klaus raised his eyebrows and looked at Veronica. "You must be the twin, Veronica"
"And you? Who the hell is he Elena? How do you know he is not one of Elijah's minions, or Klaus'?" Elena shrugged and pressed herself to his body even more before answering her sister. "He is not anyone's minion, and even if he was, that would be your problem" Caroline was eyeing Elena with nervousness, she was like that for the last three months, since she started to sleep with Tyler. "You have a lot catching up to do, about school"
Bonnie said, realizing tension in the room. She knew Elena knew, and she knew Elena could not care less. Elena however, narrowed her eyes to Caroline before speaking "And something tells me it has nothing to do with lessons. We are good to go now, we have things to do"
"Like what? Won't you go and see mom?"
"I did, she was drunk again. But with Alaric this time" Elena said as she led Klaus to the door. "I am sure Ansel is so happy to meet you all, as much as I am. I'll see you at school Bon!" Bonnie smiled to her friend and waved to her as they walked out. Elena looked happy, so it did not matter what he was or who he was. 
Outside, Elena and Klaus got into the car and Klaus started the car. "I didn't know you had a werewolf boyfriend" Elena just narrowed her eyes and looked out of the car window without saying anything. "Are you two still together?"
"Are you stupid? Why would I spend a month with you if I had a boyfriend? And for the record, Tyler and I had never dated. He is the biggest asshole ever!" Elena hissed the last part as she continued to look out of the window with anger, or something more sadder. "So his name is Tyler"
"His name is Tyler, we've hooked up twice and then he started to hook up with that blonde you saw over there. Are we done yet?" 
"Why do you hate him? I can say not because he cheated on you" Elena looked down at her hands and gulped. She closed her eyes, she wished that she did not. 
"I said I don't want to!"
"Don't do it, stop it! I said stop!"
Elena opened her eyes and the urge of vomiting was irresistible. She tried to gulp but it was impossible as well, she looked at Klaus who was looking at her. "Stop the car"
"Elena"
"Stop the car Nik!" Elena shouted and Klaus stopped the car immediately Elena almost flashed out of the car, only to vomit to the grassy area next to them. He frowned and ran next to her. "What's wrong? Tell me what's going on?" 
Elena looked at him blankly without saying something for a minute. He was growing more and more nervous about what was going on. "I stopped him, I-" She whispered, her throat was hurting.  She closed her eyes, practically passed out with the tiredness. He frowned and growled silently, he carried her back to the car. One way or another, he had a feeling that he had to kill that Tyler whosoever guy.
"So she is back?" Tyler asked to the girls who were sitting in a booth with him. Bonnie narrowed her eyes, why would he care if she was back, he was having a good time with Caroline for sure while he was going behind Elena's back. 
"She is back, with her boyfriend who is ten times more decent guy than you" Bonnie snapped, making Caroline and Tyler look down guiltily, slightly. Veronica shrugged placed her hand onto Caroline's hand. "Elena is overdramatic, Caroline and Tyler did nothing wrong. Not like Elena was taking it so serious"
"It's the girl code Veronica, plus she is your sister for God's sake!" Veronica shrugged again, why would she care about her sister if she looked happy without her. "I don't like Elena, and to be honest, I don't like you too Bonnie. You are just like Elena" 
Bonnie grabbed her bag and stood up, looking Veronica with hatred. "Let's hope Klaus finds you and completes his ritual, he will be making us a favor" Young witch walked out of the Grill, and her route was directly to the Gilbert House. However, no one was home. Bonnie gulped and walked back to her house, maybe she needed a break. 
After Shelia's death, Elena was always there for her and she was always there for Elena. Bonnie was aware that Ansel guy was not some unimportant figure she had met during her trip. If Elena had a plan, Bonnie was willing to play along as long as she was able to help.
Klaus carried Elena inside of the house that he knew it will be ready for them. He laid her down and sat there without doing anything. He glanced at her necklace, and then to his, making him sigh again. Who the hell was Tyler and what did she stop, he had a few ideas though, they made him only angrier than he already was.
He decided to wait for her to wake up before killing Tyler, so she could tell him more. So he could have more reasons to rip his heart out, or maybe, he could burn him alive as he was laughing at his screams in pain. He was not sure why he was watching Elena sleeping, all he knew was that he was feeling a weird protectiveness towards her. And for some reason, he loved the feeling as much as he loved her in a such short time.
