"F-five years?, I stutter. He looks down. "Yeah. Everyone thought you were dead. Tony and Romanoff were, are, the most upset by it. Tony was stuck in space and when he came back he lost Peter and when he found out he lost you too... He was a mess." My eyes tear slightly. I feel terrible. 
                          
He gives me a really rare smile. "Is there somewhere I can take you Ms.Stark?" I laugh. "The compound please."
                          
While driving he tells me all who's left. By the time he finishes catching me up we arrive at the compound. I jump out of the car before he even stops. "Y/n!" He yells out to me. I try to unlock the door but it wasn't working. Happy runs up to me and scans his card. "New locks." The door swings open and I run in.
                          
"Y'know I'd offer to cook you dinner but you seem pretty miserable already." Steve says. "Yeah, I'd thought you would be happier to see me." I speak up. She stands up so quickly the chair falls. Without missing a beat she runs full force at me and hugs me. I hold her close. "It's okay. Take a deep breath." I whisper. I feel her shutter.
                          
She pulls away and Steve immediately picks me up in a hug. "Oh thank god you're okay. How'd you get back here?" I chuckle "Well-" an alert goes off at the front gate. Nat answers the call and this guy keeps rambling. I don't recognize him until he says he's ant man.
                          
"Scott are you okay?" Steve ask. "Have any of you study quantum physics?" I raise my hand. I get a weird look "I was curious." Scott starts to explain it to them. "So a time machine?" I try to clear up. "No not a- yeah actually." I nod. "It's crazy." Scott says. "Scott. I get emails from a raccoon, nothing sounds crazy anymore." Nat replies. "So who do we talk to about this?" I smile. "Someone Y/n should've went to first." Nat sasses. "You love me" I stick out my tounge.

We're in the car and my leg is bouncing. I'm nervous. Nat and Steve were the easy ones because I new they would be happy to see me but Tony. He has a whole new life. One without me, and from what I've heard, he's happy.
                          
Steve parks the car and everyone else gets out of the car. Nat gives Tony a nod then slides into the back seat with me. Scott and Steve go onto the porch with him while Nat tries to calm my nerves.
                          
"He has a new life Nat. I don't want to ruin it." She laughs. "Y/n he'll be ecstatic to see you. Might make the old man cry." I smile. "You're right." She smirks "I usually am." I shove her.
                          
She opens the car door and yells out "hey Tony! You might want to grab an extra glass!" He looks over confused. I step out of the car and he freezes. He drops his glass and runs towards me wrapping me tightly in his arms. I feel his tears stain my shirt. I feel a sob leave my mouth as I hug him tighter.
                          
We walk back up to the deck and continue to talk, discussing the (as Scott would call it) 'Time Heist'. "I know you have a lot to lose now. I mea your wife, your daughters, one of which you just got back, but we have a chance. We finally have a chance and you won't-" Tony cuts Scott off. "You're right. I won't."
                          
The door opens and a small brunette girl comes over to Tony. "Mommy told me to come and save you." She has a big toothy smile. Tony picks her up. "Good job I've been saved." He looks at us. "I wish you guys would've asked me anything elae. I'm honestly haply to see you guys, I just... The table is set for 7" he looks at me.
                          
Steve trys to convince Tony but he refuses. Honestly, I don't blame him. He has his family and he doesn't want to risk it. He walks back inside with the girl. I turn towards the group, conflicted. "Y/n." Steve puts his hand on my shoulder. "Go catch up with them. We'll see you soon." I hug hin "I'll be back soon to help." He smiles. "Always have." "Always will." I nod. I give Nat a quick hug before going inside.
