I yawn as Morro and I stepped down the school steps. Class wasn't very exciting and I was exhausted from the whole day. Morro and I took a different way than we usually did since we wanted to go to the closest store to pick up snacks. Morro grabbed my arm so I didn't fall or get left behind since I was so tired. FSM, did someone poison me? Why do I feel so drained? Morro grabbed a cart. He had to get a string he had in his backpack to fidget with and tried it around my wrist to his.

We went over to the candy aisle and picked out a few candies before also getting microwavable popcorn. We also got sodas and other snacks. We split the cost of everything and paid. We started our walk home. I kept really close to Morro because since we've left, I've felt like someone is staring at me. I have a bad feeling about this. I gulp and Morro noticed how tense and scared I was. " What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

" I feel like someone is watching us," I whisper. The sound of footsteps behind us seemed to get louder. Morro nodded and pulled out his phone and pretended to get a call. He put the phone to his ear, dragging me to the side of the sidewalk. "Hey, mom! Yeah, no we're almost home. Dad's home right? Oh good! I can't wait to see him." Morro pretended to talk to our mom. He did this and dragged me to the side to see whoever was behind us as they would have to keep moving.

It was a man no older than Morro. His black hair had a single purple stripe on it. His golden eyes glanced over at us as he walked by. He wore a black jacket with purple triangles on it covering his dark purple. A dark purple scarf that was slightly lighter than his shirt wrapped around his neck. The man's pants were black that came out as sort of purple in the sun's light. What was this man's obsession with purple?

The man walked away quickly and Morro ended his fake conversation. " He left quickly and glanced at you. Someone was following us." Morro said seriously. " Stay close, head up, and alert. Tell me if anything feels wrong." Morro started walking again. I walked right next to him. " I still have a bad feeling. What if he seemed to walk away but then follows us again?" I gave him a worried look.

Morro pulled out his phone and unlocked it. " What are you doing?" I asked. " Texting the others our location just in case. If they know where we are, or just where my phone is, it would be easier to track us down if something happens." Morro was being very smart. " Now come on, let's get home." Morro quickened his pace and I did too. That was until I felt someone behind us.

A hand touched our shoulders and I yelp in fear. Morro quickly whipped around while I hide behind him. " Oh shit, sis it's ok." I looked up and see that it's no threat. It's the Ice Ninja. I sigh a breath of relief. " I sensed that the two of you are tense and uncomfortable. Did something happen? May I assist you?" The Ice Ninja was concerned. Morro nodded and explained what just happened.

The Ice Ninja took in all of the information and suggested for him to walk us home. Just so nothing happens. We agreed and continued our walk home with the Ice Ninja following us. People obviously noticed him but he had to tell them to stay away as he had a job to do. Thankfully, people held their distance for once. " May I ask who the person following you was?" The Ice Ninja asked. I gave the best description I could.

The Ice Ninja ran his description through his servers since he is a robot. " With that description, the only male I am able to locate is a boy named Leviathan Kek, son of Thema Kek and Zosar Kek." He told us. " What kind of names are those?" Morro raised a brow. " Morro, be nice." I nudged him. " Thank you for giving us a name to him." I thanked the Ninja.

" Of course. We should be arriving at your house soon." He told us as we entered the neighborhood. Morro and I thanked him once we were at our home. " Any time." The Ninja gave us a thumbs up before walking away. Morro shut and locked the door. " What luck." Morro walked to the kitchen. " I'm gonna make food, you want some?" Morro asked. " Sure." I take out my phone and text the group that we're ok. I also explain what happened which Cole said how lucky I was to meet the Ice Ninja.

After eating some pizza at Morro had put in the oven, I laid on my bed and stared at the ceiling while listening to some music. I felt one of my earbuds being removed and I jolted up. " Hey, come down dumbass you forgot your snacks." Morro handed me a plastic bag. " Oh, thanks." I smiled. Morro gave me a thumbs up before walking out of my room.

Morro walked to his room, shutting and locking the room as usual. " You'll have to tell her you know." The black-haired boy jolted and whipped around to see his window open and the Green Ninja sitting on it. Morro sighed, " It's just you." He muttered. The Ninja got down from the window and walked over to him. " She has to know who you really are." " Were!" He corrected. He sighed again and rubbed the back of his neck. " Who I really was. I'm not like that anymore."

" I know you're not. You proved that during the Day of the Departed when you helped us." The Green Ninja crossed his arms. Morro looked away. " Morro. You can't keep this a secret forever." The Ninja told him. Morro growled, " I know! I just... I'm scared too. It's not easy." The Green Ninja pat his shoulder, " I know it's not. Do it when you're ready." The Ninja walked to the window, "See you at school."
