Eiji seems nervous. Does he suspect something? I really hope he doesn't though, I'm trying so hard to surprise him. I once said something about only wearing a tux if we got married, and his face went beetred. He had obviously thought about it before. I still have no idea what we're going to do. I'd like to know because I have my own plan to follow, but eiji insists on keeping it a secret. The only thing I know is that we had to take the train to Tokyo, but there are many many places we can go to. Although eiji did pack a picknick basket so it has to be close to a park or open space. 'can you tell me what we're gonna do now?' I look at eiji, who's staring out the window. He looks at me and smiles. 'well, we're going to picknick in a field and then I'd like to take you on a walk over the big bridge. I'm sure it has a name but I don't remember. There's a smaller version of the statue of liberty. I thought it would be nice to celebrate you being here by sightseeing something from your home. ' he smiles at me. That's so sweet. He wants to go there to give me a bit of America back, without actually going there. All I need to have my home is him. I hope he knows that.' OK. Sounds like fun.' he turns his head around again and stares outside. He's going to be so excited. I know he wants this as much as I do.

When we arrive at the station eiji leads the way. We find a nice spot in a park and eiji starts laying out the blankets on the grass. This is like a date people in high school have. It must be a funny sight, 2 grown men picnicking in a park. But I don't care. This is going to be the last date as his boyfriend. After this hell be my fiance, and I can't wait to marry this man. He's so soft hearted, joyous, smart and on top he's more handsome than anyone could ever be. They say I was the 'pretty' boy, but in my eyes it's definetly him.
We eat and talk and laugh, and we have a good time until it's already late in the afternoon. We pack up everything and head for the bridge eiji told me about.
Its beautifull here. The sun is high in the sky and the water shimmers like it's made of a thousand diamonds.
We walk slowly over the bridge, looking at the statue. I feel it. This is the right time. I take out the ring from my pocket and turn around, falling to one knee.

As we walk along the bridge, ash and I are mesmorized by the water and the rest of the view. This is perfect. As I notics ash starts walking slower, I set down the picknick basket and take out the ring. I open it and drop down onto one knee. Just as ash turns around and does the exact same thing. We sit there looking at each other, waiting to see who will speak first. 'eiji, i-' 'no. I say no. It's my turn to make the big gesture. I've been planning this for way too long to let you take my moment. Let me do this for you. Please shut up.' people are looking at us, but they're faces are not filled with laughter or anger or annoyence, their eyes are fixated on the magical moment waiting to happen.' when I first met you, almost 2 years ago, I thought you were intimidating. Since then, you have saved my life numerous times and you have saved my heart too. You put your life on the line for me and all of your friends. I want you. I knew it all along. It took me thinking you died to figure that out, but I know it now. After all we've accomplished and done, this is the one thing I ask of you. Will you marry me? '
