It wasn't like George had been in there for hours, rambling on to Dream about some stories from his childhood as a first attempt to let the blonde know more about himself. Well... maybe he had, but he didn't realise the time until there was an impatient knock at the door and he looked up to be met by an angry ravenette. One who still wanted to talk to his best friend.

George stood up slowly, still weak from past events and wished goodbye to Dream.

"Visit soon?", Dream asked quietly, voice still hoarse.

"I will", George replied before opening the door and stepping out.

"I've been waiting here for three hours!", Sapnap yelled, throwing his arms in the air for effect.

"Sorry sorry, you can go in now", George motioned towards the door.

"Fine", he huffed, "The doctor says you have to go back to get some tests done. You also have to get the feeding tube, along with signing up for potential therapy I think"

George nodded slowly as Sapnap walked in through the door to see Dream.

He made his way back towards his room, pausing at certain walls to catch his breath again before continuing. It took him about ten minutes but he eventually made it back. Drista wasn't there, so he just assumed she was in the cafe or something.

The lady came into his room shortly after, drawing some blood from his arm and checking other random areas of his body, probably taking measurements so they can see how much weight he needs to gain to be healthy.

"George", she spoke softly after completing her check ups, "This is your feeding tube and I'm going to show you how it works ok?"

The lady held up something that looked weird to George but was obviously some form of medical equipment. He nodded and leaned over to inspect what was going to be keeping him alive.

The lady spent the next half an hour teaching him how it worked, showing him the basics and teaching him how to clean it.

Once the half an hour was up, she spent another ten minutes actually putting it in, before attaching George to something that wouldn't be considered food, more like nutrients in mush.

His mouth was sore, along with his nose, and it felt slightly odd to talk. The sensation was odd as the food made its way into his system, different.

"I'll be back in a bit to check up on you, if you want to stop it just do as I told you", the nurse said before leaving the room.

He nodded and sat back in his bed, flicking on the tv and settling down to watch some awful soap opera, some American version of Eastenders or something.

After about an hour of pure boredom, George tried to figure out how to stop the feeding tube, having forgotten about it. Just as he figured it out, Sapnap walked in looking quite happy in himself.

"Dreams ok", was the first thing he sighed out as he slumped into a chair, "he's going to be ok"

George nodded, not wanting to speak until Sapnap noticed his feeding tube and made a comment on it.

"They gave you the tube?", Sapnap said almost on cue.

"Mhm", he hummed in response.

"I hope you know how to work it", he chuckled, "because I won't be helping with that"
