Jungkook had a hunch. But first, it started with a simple feeling. Normally by now, he would be suffering from the distance between his mate and himself. A pain he was quite familiar with how much it was unbearable as already knew it would cause a problem when he first decided to go back to the south. So he was as much prepared for it to happen as one could prepare to face something so troublesome.
Oddly enough though, it was the lack of prominent hurting that stretched on for days that gave him his first hint. Adding to it his concluded thoughts based on past experiences with his fated one, Jungkook knew something was in fact going figuratively south this time.
So in between the moment he entered his father's study and the abrupt entrance of his sibling, he had just about enough time to link the dots.
He was unfortunately dragged into battle before he could try fully comprehending what it all meant.
Jungkook was already on his feet, tearing off the outer layers of his clothes so as to transform into his true blood form easily.

"Beta, you are responsible for the west cabins, evacuate everyone and bring them to the main house. Bring Jung and Wang with you." Jiyong was shouting orders left and right while his Luna had already changed and was in turn communicating orders in the pack's mind link.
Jungkook couldn't hear any of them for obvious reasons (he was no more part of Bangtan) but waited for a direct order with patient determination.

"Luna, take Jungkook with you and secure the nursery." The average sized, beige furred wolf nodded once before nipping his much bigger calf and nodded towards the entrance. Jungkook having heard his father nodded sharply before taking off. He only had time to turn into a giant jet black wolf who was just about the same as his dad's size with only diversity the eye color that was flashing crimson red.
Jungkook's eyes, albeit being an alpha as well, were equally jet black when he turned. A detail he used to highly despise before, being something that eventually added to his oddity, but which he at last grew to appreciate.

They ran to the other side of the pack, getting directly in contact with the screaming and the incessant howling. Jungkook would think about his eyes color, the nagging feeling at the back of his head and his jumble of thoughts afterwards, he resigned. For now, it was time to fight.

It was with grim relief that the ravenette concluded the lack of dead bodies as he looked around him. For now, the wolves were running left and right, moving pups and the elders into a more secure area whilst some howled back as they were listening in on the orders given by their lead Alpha. Jungkook breathed out once he arrived at the nursery and saw that it was nearly empty. His mother looked his way and he nodded, helping get the two little girls on top of her back so she can carry them to the main house.
Making their way out of the cabin, they came face to face with Hoseok and Jimin, both still in their human form and looking extremely panicked.

Jungkook didn't think it out and turned, barely acknowledging the slightly cold breeze on his nude body. Jimin threw him a jacket he absently tied on his lower half as the Luna took off and left the three alone.

"We have a problem, Kook." Hoseok started as soon as the younger was covered, all of his attention on the pair facing him.

"Yeah, I think I've noticed." He answered with sarcasm painting his voice. Then he added more seriously. "It's the Council, isn't it. They are sending us a warning. These rogues probably won't do much since most of the entrances are secured except the west side."

"They're taking care of it, yes." Hoseok nodded. "But there's more." He glanced at Jimin who looked visibly paler than usual. Unsurprisingly, the latter spoke up.

"They're not here to attack Bangtan. They came for something else."

Jungkook's brows scrunched in confusion. What could they possibly want that was that valuable? Hoseok answered his queries instantly.
