"Miss what are your plans today?"
"I'm going down to the sheriff's department to see if I can convince Clyde to help me investigate."
"Shouldn't you leave all that for the police?"
"I should, but I won't. The two reasons I returned to this town was to bury my parents and see who done it."
"Miss, you aren't an official police member though-."
"You're right Daisy, but I could be a consultant. I know this town inside and out. I grew up with the rich and made my way with the fellow teenage dirtbags. If they want to crack this case, they will need me."
"I'm sure they can manage without you."
"Nope, this is exactly what my story needs. A party girl turned good girl, adjacent."
"Then I support your decision."
"Of course you do, who was going to stop me."
I headed to the front door and when I opened it I was greeted by Tinsley.
"What do you want?"
"How dare you forbid us to all attend Mother and Father's wake."
"Dude, all I had to do was wave my hand and you were off the list. I felt so powerful."
"It won't last for long." She sneered.
"If you keep bothering me at my home. I'll sick the ravenous dogs on you."
"Uh, Miss, we don't have dogs to send on Miss Tinsley. I can ask Harry to chase her back to her car if you'd like?" Daisy peeked from around the corner.
I rolled my eyes. My wondrous lovely Daisy has yet to learn to just go along with my lies. Reminder to self, work on that.
"Well, when I get dogs, I'll sick them on you."
"You have screws loose."
"Yeah, we all know that. Are you just now noticing?" I laughed slamming the door.
"Miss, I can call Harry to pull the car up."
"We have to make a pit stop at the airport."
"What for?"
"First I want to see this private jet. Second, I am going to pick up my alibi."

With Harry driving and Daisy sitting next to me, we made our way to the Knight airport that houses the Knight Jet. Clearly we could only name things after ourselves.
It was a sleek slate grey jet. The windows were tinted, while the inside at one master bedroom, a fully stocked bar, and wall to wall leather.
I picked one of the glamorous window seats and sipped on water. Harry, being the multi talented god of a man that he is, was our pilot. Daisy tried to stand up the ride and treat it like she was still my caretaker, but I insisted that she sit with me.
"Miss I'm so proud of you. Not once today have you narrated." She rubbed circles on my shoulder.
"Because you won't let me get drunk."
"You're way too valuable for that."
"Well my creativity feels snuffed out. Also Daisy for the rest of the flight there is something we need to work on."
"What Miss?"
"When I say a blatant lie, just go along with it. I know we don't have dogs, but when we get back, we are getting some."
