(JAY POV) 
The sound of soft snoring unflurled the room, followed by the sound of short breathes. The brown haired boy lay in his bed, with the blanket spread over his head and slept in an uncomfortable looking position. Brr brrrrr. The sound of the dreadful alarm suddenly quaked the room, surprising the brown haired boy that so he fell out of his bed. He wiped the drool from his freckled face and let out a pitiful groan. "so soon?" he spoke outloud, turning off the alarm. He zoned out for a moment before taking a short breath and pulling out his phone from the desk beside his bed. A little smile crept on his face when he received a message from his beautiful and amazing girlfriend, Nya. He hoped to see her once he got to school in fact the thought gave him the morning boost he needed. But his thoughts drifted to his best friend cole, then to zane and lloyd and kai. My friends. he thought, letting out a puff of pride. I cant wait to see them again.
Putting on his white shirt, red tie and black fleece hoodie, he slowly crept downstairs, so not to wake up his parents. Slipping out the door, he knew he'd be meeting up with Nya like they always did before. As he walked down the pavement, he spotted the familiar figure of Nya that he loved so much. She wore a white shirt with the same red tie as he has on, with a navy blue cardigan and the same shade of blue skirt. As they met closer to eachother, he could see her eyes filled with pleasure. 
"Hi Sparky." She said affectionately, grabbing his hand. 
"Hi Nya." He replied warmly, relaxing as she took his hand.
 They walked and talked, and finally got to the school where they met up with their usual group; cole, lloyd, kai, zane. Arriving in the middle of something lloyd was saying, he heard; '-ts not that, kai. i just feel awkward being around her is all."  The long blonde haired boy looked slightly embarrassed, and Jay guessed he was talking about Harumi Jade. Harumi was a student at their school, she had it all. Popularity, Looks, High position in the school and the obligatorily to get away with anything. She always put on a good girl act, but she was cruel. She usually hangs around with a boy called Morro who was a quiet emo kid. 
But Harumi was once, and still, known for doing something inexcusable to his friend Lloyd Garmadon. Back last summer, Lloyd and Harumi were dating and the sneaky girl cheated on him by seeing someone called Griffin Turner behind lloyds back, being caught making out with the boy in the place lloyd worked at. After that incident, Harumi manipulated lloyd and tried to gaslight him, giving the poor boy extreme trust issues. Jay frowned. He remembers that lloyd had shut himself off and cried for nights because of it, and still isnt over it. Only when kai comforted lloyd and spilled out his feelings of love to him, he began to heal. Kai gave lloyd hope, and a new light on his life when they began a relationship and are still lovingly together. Jay glanced over at them both now, giggling and holding hands. Kai kissed lloyds neck affectionately, calling him 'his little greenbean'. 
"Soo brother, did you manage to get all your hair gel in? We dont want you looking like the monstrosity you did when you forgot to buy some." Nya teased kai, making the spiky brown haired boy fluster.
"That was a one time thing, nya! Why does everyone keep bringing it up? I get it, i look bad without my luxurious hair gel. Do you need to rub it in?" 
Cole laughed. "Yeah yeah hairgel, whatever you say." As the group laughed and bantered, the school bell went off and streams of bodies pushed into the school building.
"We should probably get inside before were squished like ants." Jay declared, glancing at the school doors.
"Yeah, lets go." Lloyd agreed, and the group all went inside the building and prepared to go to their classes.
