Continuation of Umbrella
The morning sun peeked through the blinds of Jiro's window and the birds chirped sweet tunes. Jiro was laying quietly on her bed as she listened to her band's old music. She played with Tokoyami, Kaminari, Momo, and Bakugo. It'd been years since Momo left to study abroad, and the band fell apart. Jiro never expected it to stay together for so long until then. The band was a bit uneven as well. Three guitarists and a single drummer didn't feel right to Jiro and she mentioned it to the others. What she didn't expect from it was an argument to spark.
"If Momo hadn't left to study abroad, our fucking band wouldn't be like this!" Bakugo broke his drumsticks out of anger and nearly used his quirk on his drums.
"I'm sure Momo had her reasons. Think about it for one second! She didn't officially tell us that she was leaving the band. Maybe we just have to wait." Tokoyami set his guitar down on a nearby guitar stand.
"What about you, electric boy?! Don't you have anything to say about this?!"
Bakugo was yelling as always and startled Kaminari."Well, Tokoyami does have a point. But she also had a choice to tell us. She clearly chose the other option and left us without a word. I- I don't know."
"Yeah yeah, but we couldn't have just forced her to tell us or tell us why. What if it was a personal reason?-" Tokoyami was interrupted.
"Do you even understand how I feel right now?! WE'RE A BONDED BAND AND SHE LEFT WITHOUT A WORD! IT'S LIKE BETRAYAL!" Bakugo argued.
"Oh so it's about you now? Self centered bastard! What about how WE feel too?!" Kaminari blurted and slid his hands into his pockets.
Jiro was itching to jam her earjacks into each of the others' since they were so loud (to her at least), but she held back. She was sitting on the nearby couch, one of her arms resting on the arm of the couch. She felt guilty, knowing the reason Momo left was because she rejected her. To distract herself from the thought and argument, she flipped her pick in the air like a coin. She flicked it up, caught it, and flicked it up again. The pattern repeated for a while. She was quiet due to her concentration, too quiet that the three arguing turned over to her. She saw flames in Bakugo's eyes, harsh rapid lightning strikes in Kaminari's, and a dark empty void in Tokoyami's.
"Got anything to say Jiro?"
"You're a bit quiet over there."
"Do you even give a single shit about this?"They started bombarding Jiro with questions and false accusations. Jiro wasn't even able to keep up and comprehend what they were saying. It's like they walled around her.
"Did you have something to do with this?" Tokoyami blurted.
The question was unexpected and it shocked Jiro. It was so unexpected that Jiro accidentally showed a physical reaction and expression to it.
"Did I hit a spot?-"
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Bakugo dashed to the other side of the room, where Jiro was. Jiro's breath hitched as she watched the scene unfold before her. Bakugo harshly grabbed Jiro's collar and pulled her, nearly tearing her uniform apart.
"TELL US. WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"BAKUGO! WHAT THE HELL MAN?" Kaminari and Tokoyami rushed over and tried to help Jiro. Of course, they struggled.
"LET GO OF ME!" Jiro gripped onto Bakugo's wrists while she rammed her earjacks into Bakugo's neck. Bakugo ignored the pain and only gripped tighter on her uniform.
