ANDREA

Perfect.

"It's beautiful. Thank you, Mrs. Knight. You did a wonderful job." Myra exclaimed while looking around the living room of their new home.

Myra and her fiance Caleb was my new client and they would shift to their new home after their wedding which is next month. The house was not big but it was cosy, perfect for a couple to start their new journey. They approached us two weeks ago to embellish their nest.

"You are welcome, Myra. And I told you to call me Andrea. Mrs. Knight makes me feel old." She chuckled.

Caleb came and stood beside Myra draping an arm around her shoulder.

"Thank you, Andrea. I really appreciate your hard work. Now this building feels like home." He said.

"Don't need to thank me. It's my entire team that did work." I smiled at them.

"But it was your innovative ideas. Anyways you should come to our wedding next month. I will send you the invitation card." Caleb stated.

"Definitely." I assured. I checked my wrist watch and realised it was 5 in the evening. I should head home now.

"Sorry guys.  I should head home right now. Its getting late. You guys should resume your house tour. I think you will love the master bedroom and the fire place." I mentioned.

"Yeah, thank you again for your wonderful work, Andrea." Myra said and came forward to hug me. Caleb too came forward and gave me a side hug.

After bidding goodbye, I entered my car and drove towards the devil's den. Adam's penthouse. It's been one month since we got married. I hadn't spoken to Adam since our fight three weeks ago. Since then I have been giving him cold shoulder. Even though we live under the same roof, we rarely see each other.

He did tried talking to me few times, but I only ignored him saying I was busy or something.  Nowadays I woke at 6 in the morning and prepare his breakfast then leave for my work before 7. I return home even before Adam, prepare his dinner then I would curl up in my bedroom and paint. This has been my routine for the past couple of weeks.

I don't know whether he eats the food I make or not, but I always find it finished without any leftover. Emily has noticed the tension between us and confronted me, but I brushed it off saying it was nothing. Not that, the paparazzi also became very suspicious questioning that why we hadn't gone to a honeymoon after our wedding. But Drew managed to calm down the media. I don't know why they are so much interested in our lives.

The ringing of my phone broken my chain of thoughts. I checked the caller ID and a smile etched to my face. I immediately answered the call.

"Hello, my dear pumpkin." I laughed lightly hearing his voice.

"Daddy, I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, pumpkin." He replied.

"How is mom, dad? I hope everything is fine there." I inquired.

" Your mom is alright. Just missing our daughter. Otherwise everything is perfect." His words bought a small smile to my mouth.

"I miss her too dad, face timing and calling isn't enough." I sighed remembering how my mother's sad face when ever I video call her.

"I know pumpkin. Anyways I called you to inform that Dylan, your father-in-law invited all of us for dinner this Friday." He announced making me confused.

"What's the purpose dad?" I questioned about the intention behind this sudden dinner invitation.

"I don't know. He said that he wanted to announced something. Dre and Mia are also invited. Dylan had already informed Adam. So you need to inform him." He stated.
