Jay's POV
                          
*later that evening*
                          
"Kira you ready?" i asked
                          
"yep, lets go" she opening the door and walked out. hopefully she'll like tonight.
                          
"where are we actually going?" she asked as we walked down the road.
                          
"you'll have to wait and find out" i said laughing. i can tell Kira's getting a little annoyed.
                          
"Jay why can't you just tell me" she pleaded.
                          
"sorry, we aren't far if that helps" i replied smiling at her.
                          
"hmmm, i guess it does a little...wait, the only place we;re near is the beach" she said looking confused.
                          
"exactly" i said grabbing her hand. i want tonight to be a night she remembers forever.
                          
Kira's POV
                          
i'm really confused now...why on earth has Jay taken me to the beach? yeah i love the beach but whats there to do when it's dark? plus the water will be freezing. 
                          
we got to the beach and Jay led me down this small path way lit with candles. when we had passed all the candles we came to a blanket with various different food on there.
                          
"picnic on the beach" Jay sitting down and signally for me to join him...so i did.
                          
"Jay this is perfect, thankyou" i said smiling like an idiot.
                          
"your welcome babe" he replied. this has honestly been one of the best birthdays ever. 
                          
Jay's POV
                          
i dunno when to ask her...maybe i'll wait a little bit longer. 
                          
i turned the projector on and her favourite film began playing.
                          
"Jay how did you do that?" Kira asked slightly surprised.
                          
"well i needed help obviously, but we managed it!" i laughed.
                          
"right...well i can see that!" she replied leaning her head against my chest.
                          
"you cold babe?"
                          
"a little" i handed her my jacket and pulled her onto my lap. i really do love her. maybe now is the time. 
                          
Kira's POV
                          
the film finished and i mist admit tonight has just been amazing. Jay went to so much effort tonight, just to make me happy. if i'm honest i would have been fine with just spending time alone with him for the night. it means so much to me that he went to all this trouble.
                          
"Jay thankyou so much for doing all this for me" i said
                          
"aww don't thank me babe, i wanted to do this, plus it's not over yet" he replied. what else has he got?
                          
"what you mean" i asked. he never answered he just took my hand and pulled me up. Jay pulled me closer to him, holding both my hands.
                          
"i love you so much Kira, your my world and i'll do anything for you. you make me the happiest man alive. to make me even more happier...fancy changing your last name? marry me Kira" he said getting down onto one knee and holding out a ring. i can't believe he's just said that to me. tears fall from eyes. i can't find the word...
                          
"of course i'll marry you Jay...yes!" i practically screamed. Jay embraced me in a massive hug and spun me around in the air.
                          
"i love you Jay" "
                          
i love you too Kira" he said before kissing me softly. this has been the best birthday ever...i'm going to remember this one!
