Weeks had passed, every day Michael would take the underground railway built by his dads, to Techno's house. He would train there until just before sundown. Because Michael is a Zombie Pigman, he doesn't age like everyone else, he ages extremely quickly from birth to around 16, then they stay like that for a very long time, much longer than humans do. Michael was quickly gaining muscle and height.
Another few months passed of the same thing every day, until one snowy day. Michael had gotten home from training. He got himself cleaned up and ready for bed. He walked into the kitchen to get food, instead, he saw his dad, Ranboo, mindlessly opening and closing every chest in the living room and kitchen. His movements were all over the place as if he was still asleep.
Michael called out to him "Dad?", no response. "Dad?" ... "Ranboo?". Still just dead silence, the only sounds being Ranboo's footsteps and the opening and closing of chests. Michael knew his dad had memory issues, but this was something completely different. Ranboo grabbed something from a chest, put it in his backpack, and headed out, memory book in hand. Michael saw the memory book, and knew what was going on wasn't good. The memory book was where his dad kept his memories, he never let anyone see what was in it, sometimes not even Tubbo.
Michael stood in the doorway to try and stop his dad from leaving. But his dad just went around him, harshly bumping Michael's shoulder. Michael was in shock. Michael spun around and grabbed Ranboo's wrist to stop him, Ranboo yanked his wrist back and kept walking. Michael grabbed his wrist again. Ranboo turned around and smacked him across the face with the back of his hand, then kept walking. Ranboo wouldn't even hurt a fly, much less someone dear to him. Michael decided to follow him out of concern.
