 Keith walked down one of the long halls, clone pods either side of him before he stepped out into a semi circle opened space. Clones circling around it with a railing around the edge. Landing pads left over the side and further down showing that the base was hidden within a practical air bubble. Open areas were left over and if he lost his footing or went over the edge, he could come lost in space. Seeing more floors with an open area like he stood in below as well, showing just how big this base actually was and how it was just clinging to the moon somehow. 
                          
He came to a stop at the dead end, staring at the simple human version clone before him, feeling Rover hum above his head and making him wonder if he should use the coms to check in with Pidge. Try and rally up together as they checked the last lot of long halls together instead of going solo, they should be closing in on Kuro meaning a heart to heart was about to go down or a harsh fight. 
                          
He didn't hear the footsteps coming from behind him, sensing the person who came to a stop at the end of the long hall before it joined to the semi circle.
                          
"Hello, Keith" 
                          
Keith could feel his breath hitched as he spun around, facing the man he and Pidge was chasing after. His eyes wide as he got a better look at the man before him, Pidge words of warning was making more and more sense. 
                          
He was blinded by his brotherly love for Shiro, the need to save him like he once did for him. To bring Shiro home, the desperate need to not lose anyone else he saw as family. 
                          
He was running on the pure hope that the clone would hold a part of Shiro will power, his strong heart that could over come Honerva magic that surged through him. 
                          
But now, as he looked to the eyes of Kuro, he was losing hope of finding Shiro inside.
                          
Kuro was built with hate, he held the urge to kill, his bloodlust leaking out of him as he hungered for the coming fight. 
                          
Shiro was not this fake. 
                          
"Rover, stay high in the air and start calling for my back up" Keith whispered to the drone who wasted no time in flying higher up as he pinged his and Keith location to Pidge halo. 
                          
Within the blink of an eye Kuro came charging Keith, his Galran arm gloving a light purple as he used it as a weapon. Keith using his paladin shield to defend himself from Shiro attacks knowing the arm could do some serious damage to him even in armour. 
                          
Pushing Kuro back with everyone he had after his back become trapped to one of the controls walls between the pods. Rolling out the way as Shiro arm came slashing down, destroying the control wall and making sparks spit out before he turned his wrath back on Keith. 
                          
Rover recording the whole thing, using his own glowing light as the power on the floor started going out from the damage of the control wall. But Keith didn't have to be worried over staying in the dark since Kuro soon grabbed him, throwing him over the edge before jumping down after him as they started falling towards a ledge below. 
                          
Rover flying down after them, pinging his location once more to let Pidge know they had moved since the first ping he sent out. Taking the footage of Keith pained face as his back crashed against the metal ground below him, a pained groan leaving his lips before he weakly rolled to the side to dodge Kuro landing attack.
