None of us slept that night.
George and I because we had been in Bora Bora where it's eleven hours behind so we were already caught up on sleep, and Fred stayed up because we did.
After the shower, George got dressed and so did I, but I got dressed in a pair of his black sweatpants and his white hoodie.
I stayed in George's arms most of the night. We were cuddled up on the sofa with Fred next to us as we were listening to some music on the radio and otherwise just talking.
Then in the morning, around seven o'clock after we had our breakfast, the three of us went to St. Mungos.
Only the nearest family was allowed in so while George and Fred had to wait out in the waiting room, I was allowed to enter.
William laid in the hospital bed, Marco on one side, mum and dad on the other.
There was a small sofa in the room where Eleanor an Charlotte were cuddled up, both asleep.
Before I even got to the bed, Marco got up and rushed over to me, wrapping his arms around me so tightly that I could barely breathe.
It took me a moment but then I hugged him back, burying my face against his shoulder.
"Gosh I love you." he breathed when he pulled back again, taking my face in his hands to look at me. "I'm so happy I could kiss you."
"Please don't." Will and I said in unison, making Marco laugh as he wrapped an arm around me and guided me over to the bed.
"How're you feeling?" I asked, leaning my head on Marco's shoulder.
"Like I've been stabbed by a psychopath."
"Sociopath." Marco corrected him. "He was a sociopath."
"Was?" Will questioned, frowning as he carefully pulled himself up to sit. "What do you mean; was? Is he dead?
"He is." dad hurried to say. "But you don't have to focus on that right now. We can always discuss the details later."
"Augustus, why don't we grab a cup of tea in the cafeteria?" mum asked. "Let the kids chat."
Dad nodded and followed mum out of the room.
"Kids." William scoffed. "I just turned twenty."
I sat down on the chair by the side of the bed while Marco basically just crawled on top of William's legs as if he hadn't just been stabbed yesterday.
"Oh god, why couldn't I have died so I didn't have to deal with your annoying ass?" William joked and lifted his leg to nudge Marco, but instead it was enough to have Marco tumbling onto the floor with a groan.
"Now I wish you would've died!" Marco exclaimed, getting to his feet. I folded my arms over my chest and simply watched with no expression.
"Hey... I'm okay." Will said and nudged me with his elbow when he looked at me, seeing that I didn't laugh like I normally would've.
I looked down at my legs.
"I think..." Marco breathed. "...I think it all just became a bit too real last night. Especially for Allie. I mean, she was covered in your blood."
"Most of it was actually..." I took a deep breath and looked at William, regretting that I opened my mouth. "..never mind... doesn't matter."
"She's the one who killed Cameron."
Immediately I looked at Marco who was staring right at me while talking to William.
"You killed Cameron?" William asked before he sighed. "Oh Allie... are you okay?"
