Today I woke up late, I didn't have work today so I slept in.
I decided that I was just going to have a movie day seeing as though I have nothing else to do.
I freshen up and walk into the kitchen with my sleeping clothes still on.
I open the fridge and stare at my cake, only one slice gone.
Loneliest birthday I've ever had.
I reach for a water bottle and then chug it down.
I open up my freezer and pull out some ice cream and then grab some popcorn chips and candy.
My mother would be scolding me for eating so much junk but I can't help it food is good.
I walk out of the kitchen and look straight into the living room for the first time.
My heart skips a beat.
I close my eyes and head back up to my room.
I set down all of my snacks and sit on the bed grabbing the remote and turning on the television.
I scroll through Netflix to find my next binge.
I click on the office and start eating my ice cream which I got sick of pretty quick so I put it back into the freezer.
I eat my popcorn and chips and candy while I watch the show laughing at all the awkward and funny moments.
A couple of hours later I'm still in my room laughing stupidly at the show when I hear a knock on the door.
I pause the show and move my snacks over and get out of bed.
Walking out of my room and downstairs I hear another knock.
Someone needs to learn to be patient.
I open the door "hey" I smile when I see who it is.
Kai black.
"Sup," he says blankly like always.
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
"Was bored" he walks into the house without an invitation.
"Well come on in," I say sarcastically.
"What're you doing," he asks.
"Well I was watching Netflix before you interrupted" 
"Oh"
"Want to join me?" I ask excitedly.
He just shrugs "sure" 
We walk upstairs and I once again try to avoid the living room, I think Kai noticed but he didn't say anything which I was thankful for.
I hop on the bed and scoot over to make some room for him, patting beside me.
He lays down in the bed and I grab the remote "I was watching the office, we can change it if you'd like" I try to hand him the remote.
He just shakes his head.
I press play and hand him some snacks but he doesn't take them, rolling my eyes I continue to watch and eat my snacks.
A couple of minutes later I laugh at something in the show and I look over to see Kai not paying any attention to it, he was staring at me.
I start to blush at the way he was looking at me "watch the show" I turn his head towards the tv with my hand and giggle.
His face cringes "don't touch my face with your sticky hands" he says but I hear the playfulness in his voice.
