I go through my locker, my mind still thinking about that dream. Luke and I almost kissed. Again! I really need to figure out this problem. I move one of my books and a silver necklace falls out. I pick it up and give a small gasp.
I was my music note necklace that my mom gave me the day before she left me.

I thought I lost it years ago. I think about how it got in my locker before I shake my head. It was a crazy idea. But then again...
The impossible has been becoming possible.
I put the necklace on and go back to switching out my books. And, once again, my mind is on Luke. I groan.
"What's up with you?" I look up from my locker and see Austin.
I sigh and close my locker. "I'm conflicted."
"Conflicted how?"
"Well... There's this guy I like but I cant be with him. And it's like, all I can think about is him. He's always around, always in my head, even sometimes when I write my songs."
Austin chuckles. "Sounds like one hell of a guy."
"He is."
"Alright, so what's stopping you from going out with him?"
I eternally panic. "Erm... Uh... a-a number of reasons."
He quirks an eyebrow. "Like?"
"Like... like..." I sigh. "Okay... It's like we're in two different worlds... kinda. Like, one minute, we'll be together and just stare at eachother with so much heart and then the next minute, I remember that I cant cause he's, like, some forbidden fruit in a secret garden... you know?" I give an awkward smile.
