Friday arrived and I had just finished up my day with classes. I rushed back to my dorm know that Luke was going to be arriving in the next hour, and I needed to make sure I was prepared and that nothing could go wrong. As I got to my room, I flung the door open to see Hero and Amy cuddled up on Kath's bed. The site of them felt like someone had just ripped my heart out. Was I jealous?

"Oh, it's you," Amy stated before giving Hero a kiss.

"Rose, you don't look so well," Hero smirked.

I stood in the doorway frozen, unable to move. Luke was going to be here shortly and I didn't want Hero to be anywhere near here.

"Your not going tonight are you?" Hero asked as he stroked Amy's hair in a loving way.

"We might be," I answer.

"We?" Hero asked intrigued.

"Luke and I."

"Oh the boyfriend," Hero laughs.

"Why is that funny?" I manage to ask.

"Just imagining you with an actual boyfriend," Hero says, causing Amy to snigger. "It's just no one has actually seen this boyfriend, not even a picture. So most of us believe he's fake. Especially knowing your a virgin," Hero adds, the smirk not leaving.

"Can you leave please?" I ask irritated by his attitude.

"Waiting for H and Kath to come back," Hero informs me.

"Can't you wait somewhere else?"

"Don't you want us meeting this mysterious boyfriend of yours?" Hero asks causing another snigger from Amy.

"He probably isn't even coming," Amy laughs as she starts to kiss Hero's neck.

I roll my eyes and make my way over to my wardrobe to pick out my outfit for the bonfire. I just knew Luke and I had to go now, after what Hero and Amy said. I just knew I had to show Luke of, especially in front of Hero. I picked out my high waisted skinny jeans, as well as a white crop top with a white long cardigan. I ignored the stairs from Hero and the snide comments Amy made whilst I laid my clothes down on my bed. It was only a few more seconds before Harriet and Kath came walking through the door with coffee cups.

"Oh Rose, didn't know you was going to be here, otherwise we would've got you one," Kath explained as she handed out the coffees to everyone.

"It's okay, I'll probably grab one before Luke gets here," I stated giving her a warm smile.

"Luke's coming?" Excitement was evident in her voice. I nodded in response. "So excited to meet this mystery boy."

I made my way down to the campus coffee shop where I arranged for Luke to meet me, as soon as I got handed my usual coffee order, Luke messaged to say he was in the parking lot. I quickly made my way towards his car as he leant up against the car. Guilt washed over me as I saw the massive grin spread across his lips. The excitement in his eyes at just the sight of me. Little did he know, I was unfaithful and that's the reason I wanted him here. I started having second thoughts about taking him to the bonfire, but I also didn't want to give Hero that satisfaction. Luke pulled me in to a tight hug, which I loosely wrapped my arms around his waist.

"What would you like to do this weekend?" Luke asks me as he pulls away from the embrace.

"Well, there's this bonfire tonight?" I suggest hoping he would be up for going.

"Bonfire? Sounds like fun. Sure," Luke agrees.

I hope I don't regret taking Luke along to meet everyone, they aren't his sort of people to choose to hang around with. But I suppose the only real reason I want Luke to attend is to show Hero that he is a real person.
