"Baal khule hi rehne do, zyada achhe lagte hai," Veer said as she tried tying her hair in a ponytail. She let her hair down and started to eat. Bani munched on her meal but would occasionally eye his as well. It looked delicious, she desperately wanted a taste.
"Do you want a bite sweetheart?" She nodded and he fed her.
"I want a taste of you too jaan."
"Gharwali?" His eyebrows raised.
She smiled and then said, "I've been wanting to come here with you for the longest time now."
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
"I didn't want to bother you, I know work has been busy," she said looking at her meal, taking another bite.
"Sweetheart sabse pehle tum, tumse badhkar aur kuch nahi. Everything else can wait," he said and then made her look up to him. "Kabhi bhi tumhe kahin jane ka mann ho rahi hai, please mujhe batao. Tumhara poora haq hai mujhpar."
She was extremely overjoyed that they were on this date. She loved having Veer to herself, she enjoyed every bit of attention she would get from him. She had been wanting to spend some more time with him but as usual, hesitated to voice out her feelings. She didn't want to overstep or bother him, whatever time he could give her she took happily with a smile.
He took a bite of the cookie that a waiter brought out but it was fresh out of the oven and once hit his tongue, gave him a slight burn. He hissed and put the cookie back before finding his wife giggle over his reaction. He laughed with her.
"Dhyaan se na jaan, tum theek ho?" She held out a glass of cold water for him to drink from and he held her hand over the glass, taking a few sips. He put the glass down as he still held her hand, caressing her wrist, intertwining his fingers with hers.
"Main bohot khush hoon ki kaam ke pehle tumne mere saath waqt guzara," he said.
A not so pleasant surprise caught her eye. From across her view, Varun entered the restaurant. With Trisha. She was pregnant, perhaps seven or eight months. Trisha gripped Varun's hand as she viciously eyed Bani. Varun turned, trying to leave but Trisha did not let him go. He saw Veer and Bani together. He knew Veer would not want to see him. Veer would ruin him if he saw him. Trisha smiled. A hand on her belly, proud of her win. And what was the prize? Varun.
Veer kissed the back of Bani's hand and she refocused her attention to her husband, eyes filled with so much love for him. This was the man for her, he was hers and she was his. No matter what, she would always remain his. Trisha thought Bani lost but if only she knew how much Bani had gained, if only she knew her whole life sat in front of her.
"Bohot kaam hai aaj?"
"Haan gharwali, factory mein meetings hai tou shayad ghar der se aaunga."
She caressed his cheek. "Kaam ke chakkar mein don't forget to have lunch on time, drive safely and call me if you need anything. Ache se kaam khatam karke ghar aa jana, main tumhaara intezaar karungi."
Veer took a pen from Bani's purse pocket and scribbled on a tissue, forwarding it to her. She opened it and saw an "I love you" with a heart written. She kissed the tissue, her lipstick leaving a mark and then passed it back to him. He took the tissue and put it in the pocket of his jacket.
"Tumhe door janne de rahe ho lekin yeh dil ke pass rakh rahi ho."

Veer entered the house at night after work to see Daksh, Ponky, and Bani in the living room. This was a usual occurrence when he came home after her. However, instead of seeing the three chatting away, they fell asleep on the couch watching a show. He walked over to Bani and caressed her forehead. She wasn't in too deep of a sleep and immediately woke up, smiling to see him. Then her eyes went to Daksh and Ponky who were knocked out.
