That Reaper, in Denial

"Eh?!" Faith almost screamed out after that question. "What makes you think that!?"

MeyRin wiped her nose, "I was walking around the manor dusting the paintings when I heard noises from your room, I did." MeyRin's face flushed, "I didn't see anything but the noises made me curious! Please don't tell Sebastian, he'll murder me!" The maroon haired maid screamed out.

Faith quickly jestered her hands to tell MeyRin to quiet down. "I don't know what we are MeyRin. Honestly."

"You don't know what who are?" Faith and MeyRin looked down the hallway to see a curious gardener.

"I uh.." Faith stuttered. MeyRin grinned, "I think Faith and Sebastian are dating!"

"You're dating him? I didn't know he had a heart." All three looked the opposite direction and saw a smokey chef.

"What the- Why is everybody at my sleeping quarters?" Faith asked as her face started turning a light shade of pink.

"I finished up in the garden and wanted to check on you!" Finny beamed as he threw his arms in the air playfully.

"I burnt the food with my flamethrower again.. so Sebastian kicked me out. So I also decided to check up on you." Bardroy rubbed the back of his neck, looking away from everybody in embarrassment.

"MeyRin I know why you're here so please do not repeat yourself." Faith butted in before MeyRin could say anything. The maroon maid just smiled and giggled.

"So is it true?" Bardroy asked, leaning against the wall. Faith shrugged and her tail swished around from under her dress.

"But aren't you only here temporarily?" Finny chimed in, his pointer finger on his chin as he looked down in thought.

"Sebastian won't be happy when you leave if you two are dating." Bardroy said, empathizing on the word 'are'.

"You're right, he won't be happy at all, he won't." MeyRin slumped against the opposite wall, disappointed.

"What is this about someone not being happy?" All four of them turned their heads to see Sebastian walking down the hallway.

The three servants jumped to form a lines against the wall. Faith's ears twitched as she calmly watched Sebastian walk towards them.

He stopped in front of the line the servants have created, "The master will be having his dinner soon and he expects the dining room to be spotless." He looked at Bardroy, "After your kitchen incident, the room will need to be cleaned once more."

Bardroy nervously smiled, but soon regained his composure as all three servants saluted Sebastian. Once they were gone, he looked at Faith.

"I heard everything you know." Faith nodded before responding "I would think as much."

"So are we? After all we are bound for life." Sebastian asked with a smirk, making Faith cross her arms before answering him, "I have not decided yet. This is complicated for me."

Sebastian's smirk fell as he sighed, "Very well." He looked at Faith once more and noticed her holding onto her leg. "What were you about to do?"

"I was going to walk around the manor. Is there a problem with that?" Faith asked, glaring her eyes at Sebastian.

Sebastian didn't understand why Faith was mad, but she was still upset from their earlier encounter. "Yes. I told you to rest so that you may heal."

Faith sighed, "Sebastian I am fine." She took a few steps to head to the garden but her leg gave out on her and she tumbled to the ground.
