it was dinner time and all the family members sat at the dining table, beginning to eat.
                          
minho subtly turned to look at chan who blinked calmly, signally that they'll tell the kids about the pregnancy, now. the elder male rested a hand on minho's thigh to soothe him before clearing his own throat.
                          
"okay, listen everyone. dad and papa have something to tell you all." he took a deep breath.
                          
"okay, so.... umm... please carefully listen to what i am about to say and please don't make a hassle out of the situation. we all need to act calmly, okay? "you are acting as if you got papa pregnant lmao." changbin spoke making to two of the eldest ones in the room to freeze in their spots. 
                          
changbin's eyes widened. "wait- don't tell me- REALLY?" chan softly nodded. "OH MY GOD!" changbin rose from his seat while jisung and seungmin sat in shock and jeongin who didn't understand the word 'pregnant,' just sat there watching the scene unfold.
                          
"and you guys are planning to keep the baby?" chan nodded again. "no, no, no. this can't happen." the boy shook his head. "you guys are kidding me, right? i love you both a lot. you know i do but no. please, NO!" "what's wrong changbin, why do you have to overreact? it's okay." said jisung, standing up. "no it's not jisung. you don't understand. i am also their son and i am nineteen. i myself am about to get married and will soon have a baby. think about having a sibling who is only about a few years younger than your own child. okay, let's keep that aside for a minute. now, just imagine how people would react. it's going to be so embarrassing." he sighed. "i have lost my appetite. i am going to felix's." 
                          
"changbin, wait-" and the door slammed close while minho sat on his seat with glassy eyes as his fists balled his pajama pants. chan brought a hand towards his back gently rubbing it to calm him down.
                          
jisung, seungmin and jeongin rushed to the couple. 
                          
jeongin tightly hugged his father who was on the verge of crying and soon, the family was having a big group hug before jisung pulled away and spoke, "when did you got to know?" "yesterday, minho wasn't feeling well, right? he fainted first and then he was puking so i connected the dots and thought he might be pregnant and bought the test which then, came out positive." jisung nodded and went back to his seat with seungmin and jeongin following his actions.
                          
"daddy what is pro-pre-prent-" jeongin said, making minho, finally chuckle as a tiny tear found it's way down his cheek. "haha... it's pregnant, baby." chan said while wiping off minho's tears. "it means that papa is about to get you a younger sibling." chan said making jeongin's eyes sparkle. "oh my god! i am about to have a younger sibling! yesss!" "he really wants a younger sibling, now doesn't he?" chan whispered to minho with a smirky grin.
                          
"FINALLY! finally i can order someone around like jisung does to me!" jeongin sqealed in joy, with pure happiness being reflected in his voice making everyone chuckle while jisung just rolled his eyes.
                          
"anyway, if you are having the baby, just know we all are with you guys. and please don't let what changbin says, affect you. he is speaking nonsense." "thanks for your support but saying that changbin is speaking nonsense would be slightly wrong. he is just worried about how others would react." "hmmm. i hope he understands that what people say shouldn't matter because they always have something to say no matter what." jisung said, slowly standing up and hugging his parents, passing them a gentle smile before going to his room.
                          
seungmin also smiled at the couple kissing both their cheeks mumbling a goodnight before going to his room.
                          
"jeongin? baby, would you like to watch some tv?" the small boy just nodded. "then, go. papa will take you to bed in sometime, okay?" said chan. "okay!" jeongin said running to the living room.
                          
once the kids were gone, chan turned his chair to face minho. he caressed the man's cheek saying, "i know you are hurt because of what changbin said but on a brighter side, see how jisung, seungmin and jeongin are happy. i really hope changbin also feels better about the whole situation soon. but for now..." he cupped minho's cheeks. "...promise me, you won't worry much about it." minho just hummed.
                          
"no. not like this." chan pouted making minho smile. the elder held out his pinky saying, "pinky promise?" minho giggled before linking their pinkies together. chan slowly lowered their linked fingers leaning in to place a kiss on his husband's forehead, then his nose and finally, his lips where he planned to stay for a bit longer but flinched, pulling away quickly as he heard "daddy~ there is only telemarketing coming on the cartoon channels~" jeongin whined. "you can watch something online-" "papa disconnects the wifi from the tv when he leaves the living room, nowadays. he has changed the wifi password, too." the young boy glared at his papa with a pout.
                          
"oh... why so?" jeongin bit his tongue looking down. 
                          
"aww my poor baby~ why don't you tell your dad why i did so, huh?" minho spoke in a teasing tone, with a smirk finding its way through his lips.
                          
"because... because i.. umm..." "oh wait, let me do the honors for you. so mr. bang. i caught your son red-handed watching youtube at three in the morning when i came to drink water." chan laughed at that, saying, "deserved... haha," pointing at jeongin who just stood there as he huffed at his parents' behaviour.
