"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go for a fly with D/n and I." I said 
                          
"Yeah, I'd love to. Come on!" Haddock answered, getting up from his chair and walking outside where D/n and Toothless were waiting for their humans. 
                          
I hopped on D/n as Hiccup did the same with Toothless. Once we were in the sky and above the clouds, I broke the silence. 
                          
"So, I called you up here cause I wanted to tell you something." I started off with as D/n hovered on the spot making Toothless do the same. 
                          
"Oh no. Did we do something wrong? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Hiccup started to ramble. 
                          
"No! No. Nothing like that." I interrupted him, cutting him off. 
                          
Hiccup looked at me confused. "Then what?" he asked with his hand tilted to the left. 
                          
"I actually wanted to tell you about Dev" I told him 
                          
"Oh, Y/n you don't have to-" Hiccup started 
                          
"No, Haddock I trust you. And I want to tell you." I say as I signalled D/n to land on the nearby island. D/n flew over to it and Toothless followed her. 
                          
"Okay. Well then, I'm all ears." Hiccup replied as soon as the dragons landed and Hiccup and I were sitting together under a tree. 
                          
"Dev is Arjuna's twin brother. Dev's older by 3 minutes and bothered Arju about it constantly. He looks like him but instead of spiky h/c hair, it's curly and it's a lighter shade of h/c. Instead of e/c, he has one e/c and one hazel. In short, all the girls - and even some guys - in our village were after him and Arjuna." I start, smiling at the memory of all the girls trying to flirt with them. 
                          
"Dev is like us, he believes that dragons are kind creatures ad that we shouldn't kill them which absolutely made our parents hate him. He's super nice, funny and I really love him. Arjuna and I both miss him." I continue 
                          
"Dev is a joker. Always making jokes and diffusing the tension, even if the jokes were at the wrong time - something I get from him. But he also loved watching and interacting with dragons with me and Arju. So when we found a bright blue and gold Flightmare in the forest one time, he was absolutely in awe; just like me and Arju." I tell Hiccup 
                          
"I tried to tame her but the Flightmare was just so scared that she wouldn't let anyone near it except for - you guessed it - Dev. Dev tamed her and named her Tara, meaning star. He wanted to keep her but we all knew that he couldn't keep her and stay here with us." I proceed
                          
"The thought haunted him for a full week, he was super stressed that someone might find Tara in the forest and then kill her or Mom or Dad might hurt Arjuna and me just for keeping a secret like this from them. You know, stressing about big brother stuff. So when one of the villagers saw Flightmare glow in the forest one time, there was a huge bounty on it. A hundred thousand gold coins for capture." I continue 
                          
"Arjuna and I knew that Dev would've been crushed if Tara died so the two of us made the decision for Dev; we decided that Dev would run away with Tara. He was thirteen. He was thirteen but had to leave because of our dam village." I say, blinking tears out of my eye. They couldn't fall, I hated crying, the tears couldn't fall. 
                          
"By the second hour of the hunt, Arjuna and I went to Dev and told him he could go. That we'd be fine, that Tara needed him. We told Dev that we'd find him someday. Dev ran away when he was thirteen years old because our village was that bad." I tell Hiccup, a couple of tears falling out of my eyes against my will. 
                          
"Dev didn't want to but we managed to convince him. It was....... hard. It was hard on all of us, I was losing a brother, Arjuna was losing his older brother and Dev was leaving everything he knew all behind, along with his younger siblings. We somehow managed to do it and Dev, flew off before anyone noticed anything." I say, rubbing my tears away furiously 
                          
"Mom and Dad found out and did some not-so-good things to us as punishment. The village blamed Arjuna and I about Dev and started to create rumours about us. terrible things that I don't even want to repeat. The first couple of months it was hard, waking up and not seeing my big brother there. But then we met D/n and Zap and hoped we could find him. We spent years looking for him but eventually, we gave him." I continue 
                          
"I know he's out there. The world is huge, he's probably explored everywhere but I know he's out there and he's probably so happy." I finish 
                          
"Well, I know he's out there too Y/n. I promise that one day, we're gonna find them. I promise." Hiccup said, hugging me. 
                          
"Thanks, Hiccup," I say, hugging back, blinking back tears. 
                          
"Anytime Y/n, anything for you." Hiccup mumbled as he kissed my forehead.
