I can't really say I'm surprised that her and Denver are together. They must have met at the ring or something, when she used to go with Harry.
Did they cheat on us with each other?
Honestly, it wouldn't even bother me if that was true. It would have bothered me a few months ago, but I've got Harry now, I'm in a way better place.
Reflecting on it now, it's funny to think about how connected Harry and I were to one another without even knowing it. It's crazy how life works, how we were linked to each other in so many ways, and yet never crossed paths until later, like we were meant to be.
Soulmates.
That's a heavy word. What do you even call two people who were thrown together in life unexpectedly, but so willing to be together?
Harry isn't perfect, and neither am I but I think that's the beauty of it, that's what makes us work together so well. I balance out his imperfections, and he balances out mine.
I've never met anyone in my life who feels like the other half of me, who gets me, who supports me, who respects me like he does.
He's it for me.
I know that sometimes we end up saying things we don't mean or doing shit we know we shouldn't but I'm willing to learn and grow with him, I want to learn and grow with him. And I hope he wants that too.
A knock on the door makes me jump, reminding me of what I'm supposed to be doing. "Babe, let's go! We're gonna be late and Niall will chew my ass out if we are."
I quickly coat my lashes in mascara, "sorry, I'm coming!" I yell out.
The door suddenly flies open, and I see Harry standing in the doorway, eyes glued onto me. "Without me?" He asks in fake shock, his hands on his hips.
My brows furrow at first before I realize where his mind went. I swear sometimes I think he's lying about his age and he's actually a teenage boy with the way he never stops thinking about sex.
Dirty boy.
I cap my mascara and roll my eyes before I walk over to him, shoving his chest as I walk into my room. "And what if I was?" I teasingly ask, grabbing my purse.
I head towards the door and shrug on my coat and shoes before my hips are quickly grabbed and I'm spun around and pushed up against the door.
Harry squeezes my hips as a smirk arises on his face, "well firstly, I'd be offended I wasn't given a ticket to the show." He grins, "and secondly, I'd be upset that you didn't invite me to help you out."
I let out a chuckle as I zip up his coat for him. "Of course you would be."
That doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Harry grins at me as he ducks down to give me a kiss, making me fist the front of his jacket at the intensity of it. I suck in a breath through my nose as Harry keeps our lips pressed together, not letting me go.
His arm wraps around my waist, pulling me in closer to him as he slowly detaches his lips from mine. We pant against one another's mouth as we open our eyes, looking at each other.
Wow.
"What was that for?" I breathlessly ask, admiring the soft look in his eyes. "No reason." He smiles, leaning forward to peck my forehead.
"C'mon baby, let's go. We're late." He tells me, not giving me a chance to ponder over what that kiss meant. Harry bends down to pet Elvis who's sitting by our feet before grabbing my hand to drag me out of my apartment.
