By this time, it was around the beginning of November, so Oc had gotten quite used to going to school. She definitely did not like school... So she skipped a lot. Since she was smart, it didn't affect her grades, therefore her teachers didn't mind. As long as she was there for tests, it was all good. Oc had been offered many spots in various different colleges and universities but she wasn't really sure what she wanted to do with her life yet. The teachers were all educated on her past so they basically gave her a free pass for homework. They treated her friends the same was because they considered them "moral support." Of course none of them minded. Who wants to do homework anyway?
Jj absolutely hated school. He often skipped or stayed home and he was definitely not a straight A student. He was barely passing all of his classes but he didn't care. It wasn't important for him to have a good education. Teachers are definitely not a fan, but he was happy, and that's all that mattered to him.
Pope is the complete opposite of Jj. He had never missed a class let alone a day of school. Even though he wasn't obligated to do his homework because of Oc, he would do it anyway as extra credit. He was a straight A student and his main focus is school and teachers love him for it. He needed to make sure he got his merit scholarship to set up his entire future. That scholarship was his ticket out of the Outer banks. His plan is to become an autopsy tech. He received a lot of pressure from his parents, especially his dad because Hayward wanted his son to have a better life.
John B wasn't the biggest fan of school, but he made a pretty big effort to show up. He missed at least 5 classes a week, but he was passing. Not straight A's but still passing. He is like the in between of Oc and Jj. He didn't put any effort in, but he was naturally a decent student. College or university was definitely not on his radar and it isn't about to be.
Kie spent a lot of her time studying with Pope. Since she is a rich kid, her family could actually afford college and university, so her grades had to be perfect. She skipped once in a while, but she was a good student.
Since Sarah went to a different school, the pogues didn't see her as much and they missed her, but it was okay. Sometimes she would come to the Château to study with Pope and Kie. She came every weekend to surf and did her best to hangout after school. Who knows how she did in school, but since she was so rich, it probably wouldn't even matter.
Oc became quite the popular girl at school. All the girls wanted to be her friend and all the guys wanted to get in her pants. Jj trusted her with his life, so he didn't worry too much about it. None of this changed her. She was still his Sunny. The one thing that did worry him, was her friendship with Spencer. Oc did become very close with Spence. Not close enough for her to tell him about her past, but they went to parties together and he even introduced her to his friends. Jj was definitely not a fan. Well, how could he be? Who would like a guy who is constantly around his girlfriend... Spence would often flirt with her, but she told Jj that it was just a part of their friendship. It did hurt him seeing her around him so much, but he didn't want to say anything. He didn't want to risk losing her again.
