It's been two weeks since Peter had been beaten by the Snakehead gang. His scars had healed to the point he could barely see them.

But he hadn't gone out as Spider-man since then. And he was kind of enjoying it, he enjoyed not having any responsibility & he also enjoyed not worrying. For the first time in a while, Peter got to hang out with his friends & focus on school.

"Okay, guys, I'll see you guys tomorrow, I have to get home before the Avengers leave, tell my dads that I love them & to be safe", Peter said as he walked with his friends out of the school. Peter started walking over to his car & his friends followed. "They don't leave for a few hours, so I can give you guys a ride home today".

"Shotgun", Michelle yelled.

"You're so lucky that you have a car, my parents won't get me a car until I turn eighteen", Ned said as he jumped into the back seat.

Michelle jumped into the front seat as Peter hopped into the driver's seat.

"Hey, Peter, are you still down to hang out this Saturday", Michelle asked? She put her seatbelt on & then looked at him.

"Yeah, or course MJ, I don't have anything planned", Peter said with a smile on his face. He pulled out of his parking spot & started to drive away from the school. "Are we just hanging out at your place, or are we going to see a movie or something"?

"Well, there is a new arcade by my apartment building that just opened", Michelle said. She looked out the window & watched as they passed people walking on the sidewalk.

"Wait, you guys are going to hang out without me & go to an arcade", Ned asked as he poked his head between the two. He turned his head to look at them shockingly. "How unfair, not even an invite".

"Do you want to come with us, Ned", Peter asked as he looked at the road while speaking back to Ned.

"No, you missed your opportunity", Nd said as he sat back in his seat & crossed his arms. "Your window had just closed".

"Well anyway, there is also an Italian restaurant down the block", Michelle said as she looked over at Peter. She quickly admired his sideview before forcing herself to look away.

"That sounds good", Peter said.

"You two will regret not taking me", Ned mumbled to himself in the back of the car.

"Oh, there is that new Zac Efron movie that comes out on Friday", Peter said as he pulled up to Michelle's apartment complex. "This is your stop".

"Yeah, we can catch that movie, yeah that sounds good", Michelle said as she opened the door & started to step out of the car. "Thank, Pete, see you guys tomorrow".

"Bye", Peter said with a smile, he waved as he said his goodbye.

"Bye, MJ", Ned said as he got out of the back seat & hopped into the front seat.

Peter put the car in drive & started driving to Ned's apartment complex.

"To make it up to you, we can hang out next weekend", Peter said as he quickly turned his head at Ned & then back to the road repeatedly. But Ned had his eyes locked on Peter. "What are you staring for"?

"I just find it a little weird that you & MJ are going to be hanging out alone on a Saturday... hanging out at her place, watching a movie with Zac Efron, going to an arcade, & you both are going to dinner", Ned said with a mischievous smile on his face.

"So", Peter asked? "What's your point"?

"Is it just me, or does that sound like a date", Ned asked with a more wide smile on his face now.
