George

I think Allie uses alcohol as a way to drown her feelings.

She's drunk again.

Marco and William left for their honeymoon. They're spending a couple of weeks in Venezuela.

Though they planned an after party for their guests and that's when Allie got drunk.

We had just gotten home and I was carrying her over my shoulder. That was the only way I could get her with me.

She kept making sounds.

As I walked up the stairs she'd act like she was on a rollercoaster, wooing every time I took another step up the stairs.

I couldn't help but laugh at it.

She's the most adorable person I've met. Sometimes I realise that she's become a big softie over the years.

When we first started going out, she'd pull out her knife constantly, threatening people, and I think that was her way to cope. She was struggling whether she wanted to admit it or not.

Everything with her dad... and then there was Cameron who treated her like shit and wouldn't leave her alone. Or when Pucey and Warrington touched her.

She doesn't pull it out quite as much anymore — mostly for fun.

Believe it or not, she's more in touch with her emotions now than she was when we were in school.

Right now, she was lying on the sofa in the living room while Fred and I were in the kitchen.

Angie's the one who told me that Allie had gotten herself absolutely pissed, sitting in a corner of the room with a bottle of firewhisky.

When my relationship to Allie started, she had never touched alcohol before, and now she's getting drunk any chance she gets.

"Did you two talk?" Fred asked while I was making coffee for Allie.

Coffee doesn't help people sobering up, even though many believe so. It helps the person stay more alert, but only time can sober someone up, though I was making coffee so that she could feel more alert and we could be able to have a conversation without her breaking into laughter.

"We did."

"Oh? You told her how you were feeling?" He asked. "What did she say? I bet she wasn't angry."

"She wasn't." I shook my head. "We talked so it's all good now. We need to accept this and eventually when we're ready, we can look into other options—"

"I'm so glad you said that!" Fred cut me off, making me look at him. "Because I actually looked into other options as soon as I found out she's infertile."

I frowned.

"You do realise it won't be for another five years at least?" I asked. "Maybe even longer. Allie is nowhere near the point of even discussing other options. Not after what happened and not while we're in the middle of a war."

"Just— listen to me." He said. "I found out that she can actually still be pregnant, she just can't get pregnant which means you can have sex as much as you'd like but it won't change the result of many negative pregnancy tests. Though, with an egg donor and something called IVF, she can still carry a child. It won't be hers biologically but it will be yours, and just because it isn't her biological child, doesn't mean it's not her child."

Wait what...

"You can— how exactly does that work?" I asked, being genuinely confused.
